A first generation college graduate and daughter of immigrant parents, Lesley has spent over a decade working in education access and public service. Her professional, academic, and personal experiences uniquely inform an equity and social justice lens into everything she does--including her doula work. I taught Lamaze, newborn care & breastfeeding for over 35 yrs and was also a birth doula. I moderated a highly successful weekly BF support group for over 12 yrs. and also a FB group. I am a nurse midwife with over 40 yrs experience with moms and babies. It is my passion to help new families in their parenting journey. I am also a board certified lactation consultant and licensed infant massage therapist. I do missionary work in underprivileged countries helping moms and babies(most recently Africa and heading to Peru in December) I have 3 wonderful sons and 4 grandsons.

I am a certified postpartum doula, lactation counselor, mother, and designer. I was born in NYC and grew up between Brooklyn and Honolulu, where my parents met. Surrounded by natural beauty in Hawaii, I became really interested in plants and studied the ways they're used as natural medicine in indigenous cultures. I dove further into holistic wellness and lived in an ashram in India, where I obtained my yoga teaching certification. It became clear to me that one can be healed by connecting the mind and body with nature.
