Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a DONA Trained and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I have several years in the childcare industry, spanning various different roles, both inside and outside of the home. I have taken my love for kids and my amazement at the power of birthing people and pivoted my passion to doula care. I believe in empowered and educated choices, feeling empowered in the labor room, and supporting families during the biggest transitional period of their lives. I I'm Stephanie, the owner of Gentle Birthing. My passion for birth work began after the home birth of my first child in 2010, when I experienced the incredible support of a midwife and birth team. That experience inspired me to help other women learn about their birth options and approach birth with confidence. Since then, I've welcomed six children through home births, including five water births, and have continued to deepen my knowledge of pregnancy, birth physiology, and natural comfort measures. The encouragement I received from my own birth team shaped the way I viewed birth, and I strive to provide that same compassionate, evidence-based support to the families I serve. In addition to birth work, I have experience supporting families during the postpartum period, providing overnight newborn care as they adjust to life with a new baby. My goal is to help parents feel supported, rested, and confident during this special season..

As a fertility coach, birth & bereavement doula, certified trauma professional, infertility warrior, and recurrent pregnancy loss survivor, I offer individualized support and resources for women and couples who are going through infertility, miscarriage, and/or pregnancy after loss. Because of my personal experiences as well as my professional training, I am uniquely qualified to walk alongside you throughout your entire fertility and pregnancy journey to motherhood. My approach is to offer unique, individualized support for wherever you are on your journey. I use the Enneagram and multiple assessment tools to provide you with custom, individualized tools and resources to help you reduce stress and anxiety, cope with triggers and trauma, and heal your body, mind, and relationships. Infertility, loss, and pregnancy after loss are hard enough- and you shouldn’t have to go through them alone. My role is to make sure you have everything you need to get to the other side of the hardest parts of your journey- supported, courageous, and victorious.

Hi, I'm Suzanne Nicklas! I'm a Registered Nurse, IBCLC, Doula and Health Coach based in Greenville, SC. As a nurse, my passion has been working with new parents and infants. I have worked with hundreds of families in my fifteen years as a lactation consultant and doula. I love educating families prior to the birth of their baby and particularly enjoy the postpartum period. As the mother of four, my own birth experiences led me to this work. I offer 24/7 on call Lactation "office hours" to assist families at any time of day or night. My passion for wellness started many years ago when I took the first of many health coach trainings, the first being through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I began health coaching in 2010 and since then my practice has transformed and grown in many ways. As I have grown as a person, so has my work. Along the way I have picked up skills based on my own personal interests and broadened my education and am able to share those with both my lactation and doula clients as well as my coaching clients. Some of these training include yoga, aromatherapy and reiki. It is my love of combining conventional and alternative philosophies of care that led me to Ayurveda and Yoga. My trainings have enabled me to blend the wisdom of Eastern medicine into our Western way of living to create lifestyle transformations that work in our busy day to day lives. All of my services are offered both virtually and in person. Lastly but most importantly, as a partner and mother of four amazing humans, I bring both personal experience and professional care to the families I serve. I am a birth and bereavement doula located in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC. My philosophy of birth is that it is a natural, normal process. My heart’s desire is to support women as they go through pregnancy and birth, to empower them to have the best experience possible.

I’m here to change how we view pregnancy after infertility or loss. I look at this mission in a couple of unique ways — by sitting with women who have experienced loss, by encouraging them as they try to conceive again, and by supporting them once they are pregnant again. I lost my first baby in January of 2021, have been struggling to get pregnant again, and have made it my goal to provide moms with the support that I wish I’d had. I’m a certified birth and bereavement doula. But more than that, I am a passionate loss mom with a heart for other mothers — no matter what stage they are in on their journey to motherhood.
