As a Registered Nurse with extensive birthing center, neonatal ICU (NICU), and postpartum experience- I understand that breastfeeding doesn’t always come naturally-and that’s okay. Having worked in hospitals for over 15 years-I can help you navigate your breastfeeding journey from pregnancy to postpartum and up to the 1st year of life. I have worked at Vassar Medical Center and Northern Dutchess most recently but also have experience working in other cities and countries where breastfeeding was highly valued. I am also a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher, and love animals. I enjoy living upstate and truly believe in a holistic approach to care but also have the medical background to support the needs of more complex families and dyads.

I’m starting this review with complete, 100% honesty; best. google. search. ever. Sirin has not only been the first lactation consultant I’ve ever had (this is my first child), she will forever and always be the ONLY one I would ever use or recommend. She has gone above and beyond even from our very first encounter. She came to my house and I was on the phone with my OB having really bad cramping. My OB told me to start doing yoga poses…Sirin got on all 4’s doing cat/cow with me, helping me with breath work—all to just get me to feel more comfortable. This was in the first 5 minutes of meeting one another! From that moment on, we just clicked. She has been so helpful pre and post pregnancy. I gave birth a week ago and have already seen her 3 times! She is so knowledgeable and so experienced. She has helped me tremendously with breast feeding as a whole and we have had great success with my son latching and feeding! I can’t even imagine the “what if” I didn’t google search lactation consultants. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so available and helping me navigate this journey! I cannot recommend Sirin enough. She was absolutely excellent from start to finish. She came right to my house the same day I reached out, which was such a relief during a stressful time. She took the time to work closely with me to make sure my baby was getting enough during feeds. She was patient, encouraging, and truly caring throughout the entire visit. Sirin is the reason I was able to successfully nurse my baby!! Full Circle Lactation has been an integral part of my breastfeeding journey, and I cannot recommend Sirin’s services more highly. Sirin is patient, compassionate, gentle, respectful of her patient’s bodies, supportive of their goals, and wonderful with babies to boot. When I first met with Sirin I was feeling extremely sore, and physically and mentally defeated. With Sirin’s guidance I transitioned from feeding my baby formula to achieving my goal of exclusively breastfeeding. I saw multiple lactation consultants postpartum, both in the hospital and after. Sirin is the consultant that best helped me understand my body, understand my baby, and understand how to breastfeed. She is kind and comforting, and I enjoyed our sessions together. Additionally, Sirin is very knowledgeable about the wide, confusing world of pumping. In one of our sessions, she once mentioned that her mentor was able to “get milk out of a rock”, and I believe that Sirin has that ability too. I can confidently say my baby would not be breastfed if it wasn’t for Sirin and Full Circle Lactation.
