I want to have a water birth and I’m looking for a midwife.
I like calm and privacy, am not a fan of hospitals or traditional medical care. This is my first pregnancy, about 4 1/2 weeks in, leaning towards doing a home birth. Don't know a budge yet and have not thought about birth plan.

I want to give birth at home. I do not have insurance and I am low income. I would like to pay $5000 or less, but I may be flexible. I should qualify for pregnancy Medicaid but I know most midwives don’t accept it. I want someone who can holistically manage pregnancy and not jump straight to induction. I am obese with a history of high risk pregnancies but I want to experience undisturbed birth.

I plan on giving birth at Northside Atlanta. I would prefer to pay with insurance (BCBS Publix plan). I am aiming for an unmediated birth, water birth preferably if possible.
I need a midwife who stays calm collective. One that does not pressure anybody to do anything walks through things nice and easy. I do not need a midwife that gets upset easy. I don’t want to feel pressured into anything. I don’t want anybody else’s hands inside me. I am aiming for a water birth at home. I would prefer to stay under 5000. If that’s not possible 7000. I plan to hold my baby for the first hour after giving birth. I do not plan on giving him a bath the first day. I don’t plan on having any bright lights or flashing. I plan on having the baby weighed in a soft fabric. He will not have any hats on him so that we can regularly his body temperature..
