During my pregnancy as a first time mom, I wanted to learn everything I could to prepare for an unmedicated birth. I did much research and preparation! I ended up having a surprise home birth, where my husband ended up delivering our baby girl! This sparked desire to come alongside fellow mothers, offering guidance and support every step of the way. I am happily married to my best friend, and we are blessed with three wonderful sons. My interest in birth and breastfeeding has always been a passion of mine. The birth of my first son was at the hospital and was a life-changing experience that ignited a fire within me. I knew then that I wanted to support families as they welcomed, nourished, and nurtured new life. I became a certified doula in January of 2021 and began attending births. Being welcomed into someone's birth space is an incredible honor. Witnessing the transformative and miraculous experience of birth is truly awe-inspiring. In 2022, we welcomed our second baby at home, and the night and day difference in my experiences solidified my dream of becoming a midwife. I am excited to learn and grow as a student midwife and to serve families. When I am not attending births, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, and cooking.

We always remember how our children came into the world and as a birth doula I wish to give you the confidence to decide what is right for you and your family, supporting you, emotionally and practically, to have a beautiful, empowered and positive birth experience. The arrival of a new baby is a time filled with so many emotions, from excitement and joy to worry and fear. The early weeks with your newborn are undoubtedly magical, but they can also be challenging and overwhelming. Your body has gone through an enormous change, and your hormones will be shifting as well, the dynamics of home life shift and new skills are learnt by all the family.  As your birth doula, my role is to offer you and your family the necessary support for a positive birthing experience.  I will give you the much-needed continuity of care, access to accurate information and to be a guide along your pregnancy and birthing journey.
