Hello! My name is Angela Harrison. I am a certified labor & delivery and postpartum doula located in the Pittsburg area. My husband and I have three beautiful kids; a set of twin boys and a baby girl. My passion for birth work was sparked during my pregnancy with my twins, but became even higher when I had my VBAC with my third with my own doula. I am so excited to serve and get to know you and your families!
Springdale, Arkansas
Hi there! I’m Ava Ellis, a doula and childbirth educator based out of Northwest Arkansas. Though initially trained through DONA, I am currently adding a certification in birth & postpartum support through Madriella as well. My passion for birth work stems out of an early fascination with all things pregnancy and birth. I believe every birthing person has a right to unbiased, continuous support through the childbearing year and beyond. Outside of birth work, you can usually find me dancing in my kitchen to Johnnyswim while baking chocolate chip cookies. A few of my favorite things are kind people, great books, and the pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee.

I’m a work from home mom and I had my first baby in June of 2023! My husband and I have been married since 2022 and we’ve grown up in Kansas City our whole life. I’ve been passionate about birth since I saw my mother birth her last two children about 10 years ago and noticed how much women need advocates and support during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum! Since then, I’ve been trained as a doula through GEM (Global Education of the Midwife) and have been pursuing a postpartum doula course as well. I hope to provide my clients with all the information necessary to empower them to make informed decisions about their birth plan/goals. If a client is open to it, I also love my Christian faith and try to implement that in areas of my work as well.

I am a mother of 5 and Dede (grandmother)to one darling little girl. I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am an animal lover with 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue pigs! I love to cook vegan meals and enjoy taking traditional meal recipes and making them vegan! I have a huge heart and am very sensitive to my environment and those around me in an intuitive way. I LOVE people and am genuinely curious about everyone I meet. I have been told my whole life that I am a good listener. I also have unique perspective on life and situations in general. During stressful events, I am a pillar of strength, calm and stoic. I help those around me stay grounded. Maybe that makes me sound boring, but I assure you I am anything BUT. My sense of humor will keep you laughing (releasing oxytocin) through labor. Until you get to the part where you need quiet. I have an uncanny ability to "read the room" and blend in to the background if that's what best suits the situation. I connect and attune quickly and effortlessly to my clients. I have been a doula for about 20 years. When I was in the thick of motherhood myself, I knew that I needed a career where I could help people during life's transitions. My business took off and here we are. Over that course of time, I have served hundreds of families and have trained hundreds of doulas too!
