Reasonably affordable midwife, ideally for homebirth. Extremely holistic approach, absolute bare minimum. Looking for support with high mobility, low intervention labor. Preferred experience w/cord clamping, golden hour, etc. Primarily seeking midwife who is familiar with warning signs/problem occurrences in the event that labor should be continued or moved to a hospital location. But absolutely would prefer a homebirth. First time mom. Also looking for potential breastfeeding and postpartum support, just to help get my footing. I plan to give birth at home in a pool with minimal interference. I cannot afford much, I would say $1500 is my budget. I would prefer a fully unmedicated birth with positional coaching.
