Hi there, I'm Jen, the doula and photographer! I offer maternity, birth and newborn sessions. I am married to my wonderful husband with whom I share seven energetic kiddos, ranging in age from 1 to 12 years! My youngest 3 children were born at home, and I was then able to finally experience how powerfully transformative birth can be when done with absolute support and reverence to the process. After linking up with Sylvia Scarlett, I attended a DONA International doula training course with the amazing Rae Davies to gain a broader perspective of birth, aside from my very own, diverse experiences. Hey everyone! My name is Coni and I am a Certified Birth Doula located in Polk County, Florida. I'm married and have 3 crazy kiddos. I was also a surrogate and had Belly Buddy on February 3rd, 2024. I have always been interested in birth. My mom used to teach childbirth classes at the hospital when I was little, and I always loved going with her. I got pregnant at 17 and had to deliver at a birthing center due to financial reasons. I was TERRIFIED to give birth without any medications. Long story short I did it and I felt so empowered! This is when my passion grew even stronger about birth and learning the truths behind it. I ended up having my other 2 kids at the same birthing center because I fell in love with it. I had my first hospital birth with Belly Buddy and that was a new experience that I was able to grow my knowledge in. I would love to be your Doula and help empower you. Hello! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Volusia County and servicing within a 50 mile radius. I got started in the birth community after the birth of my daughter. I had a wonderful experience, in part due to the wonderful midwives who attended me throughout my pregnancy and labor, as well as the postpartum doula who came to my home at 2 in the morning to help me with her when I was losing my sanity. These experiences made me want to give to other women, and I found my way into doula work. It has been the most rewarding work I have ever done, and I love doing it. Outside of my work, I spend time with my daughter and my partner, I enjoy reading and playing video games, and I have two cats and a leopard gecko.
