Hi! I'm Natasha, a mother of 2 daughters and a birth doula serving the St. Louis, Missouri area and the Metro East area in Southern Illinois since 2021. I like to have a holistic approach to the pregnancy and birth experience. I like to focus on nutrition and positioning techniques during pregnancy to help minimize end-of-pregnancy concerns and labor challenges. I started my doula journey shortly after my first born because I wanted to help other families to know that they do have a voice that matters. Having a cesarean myself, then a HBAC, I have a unique perspective on the difference of each of those experiences. I learned the importance of having the proper support, the right to informed choice and the resources to have a positive pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. Hi all I am Britni! I first started into doula work after the birth of my first child. After a positive and empowering experience where I learned a lot, especially self advocacy, I started helping friends and family educate themselves and advocate for their desires. After officially venturing into doula work, my goal has always been to support and educate families about what their options actually are so that they step into their birth experience knowledgeable and empowered. I also strongly believe that supporting the body leads to better birth so I also love connecting families with other professionals in the area that can support them in that way. When I am not at a birth or supporting a family I am either teaching a Newborn Care class or a Cloth diapering class. Hello, I'm LaCrisha, but most people call me Crisha. I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I’m proud to call it my hometown. I’m blessed with a wonderful, supportive husband, five amazing kids, and a few adorable grandchildren. My happiest moments are spent with my family—whether we’re going out to eat, enjoying a good movie together, or dancing the night away. For many years, I found myself in labor and delivery rooms, supporting family members, friends, and even friends of friends. Sometimes, people assumed I was there to translate, but most of the time, I was simply there to help and offer comfort. It became such a natural role for me that people began asking how long I’d been a nurse. Though I’m not a nurse, I realized how much I love helping others during such a monumental time in their lives. Now, as a Certified Doula, I feel incredibly grateful and honored to be part of these intimate and life-changing moments.
