My name is Kara and I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through Madriella Doula Network. I have served as a Doula for the last 4 years, and I'm truly passionate about this work. I have 7 beautiful children of my own and have had many different birth experiences, including my last three births being at home and one of my children joining our family through adoption. My passion for helping women and their families during this special time in their lives is what drives me. I am a certified perinatal Doula who accepts Geisinger Medicaid and private pay. I specialize in birth planning, breast-feeding support, relaxation measures and teach Myles circuit. I offer both in person and virtual visits. Outside of my work, I am a missionary and a single mother of two older children. I have over 13 years of experience in birth-work and consider it a blessing to be able to support teenagers, women and babies. I also offer grief counseling for infant loss and abortion.
