I’m a momma to 3 incredible babies, my love for pregnancy and babies started at young age, I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I decided to get into birth work after my first baby was born. I have experienced 3 vastly different births myself including a c-section and 2 home births. I am so passionate about vbacs and home births but I support all births and everyone’s decisions. I am based out of Norfolk county but I do travel within reason.

Hi, I'm Jessica Hill. I have a deep passion for supporting expectant couples throughout pregnancy and beyond. When I was expecting my first born, I took HypnoBirthing® classes and had an empowering natural birth in a hospital setting with midwives. My second pregnancy was high risk and I again called on these techniques to stay calm and focused throughout pregnancy and birth. After my birthing experiences, in early 2018, I certified as an educator with the HypnoBirthing® Institute. It brings me so much joy to be in service to expecting families and I would be honoured to be chosen as your birth educator. It is my goal to help families feel prepared, relaxed and confidant about their upcoming birth. I believe that the combination of breath, visualization, education, self-hypnosis, affirmations and relaxation will give expecting couples the tools they need for a calm and empowering birth.

Lara Esrey (they/them) is a queer non-binary full spectrum doula & educator. They offer doula support for birth, postpartum, abortion & loss. They also teach childbirth & postpartum preparation prenatal classes, offer lactation support, and are a community herbalist. Lara is trauma informed and approaches this work from a person-centred standpoint.

I found my passion for birth work while searching for my own doula for the birth of my son last year! Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m a mama of two and someone who truly understands how transformative the journey into parenthood can be. I’ve always been drawn to calm, grounding spaces, whether that’s near the water or in the quiet moments that matter most and I bring that same sense of ease and support into my work as a doula. My path to becoming a doula began before I even realized it. After supporting my sister and brother-in-law with my newborn nephew, I experienced firsthand how vital compassionate, hands-on support can be during those early days. That experience sparked a deep passion in me for creating positive, empowering birth and postpartum journeys. After welcoming my second child, I followed that calling and completed my doula training so I could support other families in a meaningful way. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll likely find me unwinding with a little reality TV. I’m a proud Bravoholic!
