I am available to support you as a antepartum, postpartum RN as well as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, IBCLC that specializes in newborn feeding as well as feeding complications. I offer support with in-home consultations, virtual and overnight newborn feeding/post-partum care. I also can share this vital education with your partners, whatever your family looks like for you and successfully include them in supporting you during this vulnerable time in your life. I grew up in Connecticut in a loving neighborhood called Brookside Place. After graduating from The University of New Hampshire, I moved out to Los Angeles and became a talent manager in the entertainment industry. Several years later while supporting a family member through birth and parenthood I became fascinated by pregnancy, labor, and newborn care. Overnight I decided this was the path I was supposed to be on, and haven’t looked back since! My pratice has now expanded to included sleep coaching, as I find navigating good sleep habits with a newborn can be tricky and a daunting task to take on alone! My fiancé and I will be moving back to New England in 2024 to start our own family and I couldn’t be more excited to move my pratice back East. Right now I am available virtually as a consultant, and will open up my pratice full time in the coming months.

Having been a nurse on a birthing floor, I became very interested in specializing in lactation. I have been an IBCLC for 10 years now, working in a hospital seeing new moms after birth, teaching prenatal classes for preparing for breastfeeding, facilitating a weekly “new mom’s support group, as well as building a private practice. I now work independently, doing home visits and telehealth visits where I can spend as much time as needed attending to the new mothers who are learning the art and skill of breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping and eventually transitioning to table foods. My name is Alice Norris. I am a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum, and Maternal Child Health. I hold a bachelor's of science degree in nursing from the University of Vermont. I have cared for mothers and babies for more than 25 years. My experience includes hospital and community health settings providing pediatric and postpartum nursing care. Blooming Babies is my private practice which allows me to provide expert lactation support through home visits, in-office appointments and telehealth. Along with personalized support I offer online breastfeeding classes and breast pumps covered by BCBSVT. My mission is to help families meet their breastfeeding goals by providing calm and knowledgable guidance throughout the breastfeeding journey.

I am passionate about helping moms when they are at one of the most vulnerable points in their lives. Struggling to feed a tiny new human can feel overwhelming at times and I so enjoy meeting moms right where they are at and working with them to meet their breastfeeding goals. Ashley is a loving wife & mom of six (6) littles, including a pair of twins. Ashley is a Birth Doula, Lactation Counselor, Fertility Counselor and Perinatal Loss Advocate. I became a birth worker after experiencing 2 hard-fought laboring experiences and feeling like my options during labor were limited to what was hospital routine and whatever was financially incentavizing for my medical providers. I decided that no mom should feel like her birth doesn't belong to her; like she cannot have full bodily autonomy in her most vulnerable hours. Every mother should have the liberty to explore all of her options, including alternative coping methods and relying on her own intuition to bring forth a healthy baby. My mission is to inspire mothers to understand normal newborn behaviors, connect with their children through feedings and watching them blossom into confident parents. The experience of bringing home a new baby is still very fresh in my mind. I remember the mixture of emotions like love, joy, excitement mixed with anxiety, worry and exhaustion. Breastfeeding was so precious but also so challenging. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this experiences. I have become passionate about helping others find their confidence, provide them with tools and knowledge to reach their goals and understand their baby’s language.

I have over 15 years of experienced working in the field of lactation, and currently work in the hospital, NICU and a birthing center setting. Hi. My name is Erica, I am 35 and a mother of four. I became certified as a holistic doula in June 2024. I was lucky to have a doula for the birth of my first son and knew this was my calling. I advocate for all mothers decisions either natural births or medicated, and push for nurses and doctors to follow birthing plans to the best of their ability. I myself had three natural births and one c-section. I assist with any needs from pain management to help with breastfeeding. I am here to be the voice for mothers and babies during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum.
