Hello! I am a postpartum doula in Calgary and area. I am passionate about perinatal mental health and providing support to families as they transition to life with a newborn. I trained in 2018 through DONA, hold a BASc in psychology and sociology and am currently in training to be certified as a paediatric sleep coach.

Hello! I am a DONA trained postpartum doula who supports all new families in Calgary and the surrounding areas of Cochrane and Airdrie. The postpartum period can be challenging, but there is support available. You are not alone. I am currently in training to become a paediatric sleep coach, and am taking clients.

Do you work overnights?

Currently, I cannot take any clients that are looking for overnight care.

What does a typical visit look like?

Usually, I will come into your home and ask how the last 12-24 hours have been. I will answer any questions you might have, and listen to any of your concerns, offering advice if needed. After this brief catch up, I will ask what YOU want to do with the time while I am there. Usually, parents want to sleep, bathe, have self care time or eat. I will take care of your newborn and do some light housekeeping or baking as newborn allows. Some parents want me to teach them baby care skills (such as giving baby a bath or swaddling) and we will do that together. At the end of the shift, I will chat with you about how everything went, and offer any insight into what worked well with your newborn.
