Hi! I'm Gabriella, and I’m passionate about supporting women and families through their fertility, pregnancy, labor, and motherhood journeys. My path to becoming a doula began in 2014 after my own empowering birth experience with my first child. Inspired, I became a certified childbirth educator through the Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth and discovered my deep passion for women’s health and well-being. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to support families in various ways—whether teaching childbirth education, offering lactation consulting, or even serving as a virtual doula in moments of need. My own birth experiences have shaped my practice. From a beautiful birth center delivery to navigating an unexpected emergency C-section, and finally achieving my VBAC home birth, I bring a wealth of personal and professional insight to my work. These experiences have fueled my commitment to empowering families with knowledge, confidence, and holistic care. At the end of 2023, I made the decision to leave my corporate career to pursue my dream full-time. I am currently trained through DONA International, a globally respected organization, and offer compassionate, intuitive support focused on mental, physical, and nutritional health. Hey everyone! My name is Coni and I am a Certified Birth Doula located in Polk County, Florida. I'm married and have 3 crazy kiddos. I was also a surrogate and had Belly Buddy on February 3rd, 2024. I have always been interested in birth. My mom used to teach childbirth classes at the hospital when I was little, and I always loved going with her. I got pregnant at 17 and had to deliver at a birthing center due to financial reasons. I was TERRIFIED to give birth without any medications. Long story short I did it and I felt so empowered! This is when my passion grew even stronger about birth and learning the truths behind it. I ended up having my other 2 kids at the same birthing center because I fell in love with it. I had my first hospital birth with Belly Buddy and that was a new experience that I was able to grow my knowledge in. I would love to be your Doula and help empower you. Hi, I’m Merinda! I’m married to my husband of 12 years, and together we’re raising three beautiful kids. I’m an Ohio native, but Florida has been home since 2017, and Sarasota is a place we’ve grown to love deeply. Our home is currently shared with our sheepadoodle, kitten, and four hens who keep life interesting! It’s a little busy, a little chaotic, and exactly the kind of full life I love. My husband and I also have the incredible privilege of serving as pastors of a local church body in Sarasota. We’ve been in full-time ministry for the past nine years, and it is both our passion and our honor to pursue the heart of God and walk alongside others as they seek Jesus. That calling has shaped so much of who I am and how I care for people—especially in the moments when life feels tender, uncertain, or overwhelming. I’m also a life coach, which means I spend a lot of time helping people work through those “stuck” places in their lives. I ask a lot of questions, listen closely, and help people uncover the answers that are often already within them. I love helping people move from feeling overwhelmed or uncertain to feeling clear, confident, and capable. That same heart is what drew me so deeply into birth work. My own experiences with pregnancy and birth have given me a unique perspective. I’ve experienced epidurals, elective inductions without an epidural, IVF, and I also had the incredible privilege of being a gestational carrier for my sister-in-law! Experiencing birth in such different ways has given me a deep compassion for the fact that there is no single “right” way for a birth story to unfold. Every mother, every baby, and every family brings a different story into the room. My approach to doula care is balanced, steady, compassionate, and calm.
