I have a Health Science degree from the University of Waterloo, over 150 hours of university-level education in breastfeeding, and extensive clinical training in lactation support, in addition to my doula certification. I have attended over 100 births across five hospitals, three birth suites, and many (many) homes. I specialize in supporting gentle hospital births for high-risk pregnancies and IVF families. I am a mother of four, a registered social worker and a full-spectrum Doula with a special place in my heart for legacy work and preparing folks, and their loved ones, for the end of life transition. I am committed to choice, informed consent, education/information, equitable access to services and client-centred care. At the heart of my work is the belief that life and death are sacred and that love holds space through all of life’s transitions.
