About me
Hello, My name is Telisha. I am the founder and owner of LIVLoved family support providing postpartum doula services, coaching, and infant massage education to families of children birth to 5. LIVLoved provides relationship-based postpartum support that is guided by a holistic approach supporting a strong familial bond. My lived experiences, coupled with 20+ years of professional experience working with families in early intervention, mental health, and developmental disabilities, serve as the foundation of my understanding and insight into each family’s parenting journey. LIVLoved is my call to action and gift to all families wanting to be seen, heard, and supported on their parenting journey. Our mission is for every family that interacts with LIVLoved to give love, receive love, and live loved.

LIVLoved is a postpartum family support agency that promotes healthy families of children birth to 5 years of age by providing coaching and doula support to new and expectant families in Richmond, VA. Infant massage education is also offered as a practical strategy for parents/ caregivers to connect with their little ones in a way that supports healthy parent-child interactions, strong attachment, and effective communication necessary to achieve positive parent/child outcomes.

Having Telisha as my husband and I doula for our first child was nothing short of AMAZING! Her knowledge and attention to details gave our family such an amazing peace about being new parents! Sometimes you just don't know what you need until it's been given to you. I am a 42 yr old working mother of 3; a set of 3 yr old twin girls and a 10mos old son. The twins came first. While it was very exciting, it was also very overwhelming at times. Telisha Woodfin came alongside me offering support in the form of meal prep, emotional support, referral advice and guidance and infant massage. She was there, not only during my pregnancy, but following delivery and in the most relevant of ways that i would not have known to ask being a new mom.....she just knew lol! If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, honest and sensitive to your needs.....she's the one for sure.
