Planning to give birth in hospital. I would like to have natural unmedicated birth. This will be my first child
This is my first baby and unplanned, we are planning to birth at Littleton Adventist hospital. I reside in Lakewood and we are hoping for someone to help guide us through the process of pregnancy and how to plan for birth and after birth and an additional support person there for birth to help execute my hopes for a birth plan even when things go a different way. I love a holistic approach but have some health complications so we chose a MD rather than a midwife so hoping the doula is able to help us find a balance between the two wishes. The care is for me and baby but also dad will be there and is eager to learn so would love him to be included. We have both united healthcare and medicaid and really just hoping to use those two insurances to cover majority of our cost.

I’m super early in this search but I want time to get connected to the right doula and have time for them to get to know me and my husband as well as us to get to know them. Question: Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? Answer: hospital Question: Provide your estimated budget Answer: I don’t really have a budget because I’m not sure what options are out there as I’m just beginning my searches so I don’t want to limit or exclude Question: Describe your birth plan Answer: right now this isn’t super built out, like mentioned I’m pretty early in this search but things I do know, vaginal birth unless a complication or emergency drives a c section, epidural, goal is short labor Question: Describe your requirements for the provider (certification, number of years experience, second language spoken) Answer: someone solid who knows their stuff. No preference on second languages Question: Details about care recipients (Age, special needs, feeding, etc.) Answer: supporting through birth Question: Include any additional duties (Sleep training, cleaning, cooking, laundry etc.) Answer: right now my main focus would be birthing support and all that surrounds support during birth. Any additional duties may change along the way but aren’t pressing right now.
I’m having a home birth, this is my first birth so we are new to it all. I have a midwife. I need support during the birth for myself and husband. My husband and I also would like postpartum support for the week after birth, for a couple hours a day. I’m not exactly sure what support we need postpartum because we’ve never done this before, but know we’ll need some help. Our budget is $1,000.
Birthing in Denver at Rose medical center; don’t have a birth plan; first child; need assistance at birth a few sessions prior and a few sessions after: open budget depending on qualifications; looking for someone with experience advocating for under represented populations during the birthing process- this is very important to us
Hi! My name is Heavan Shaw. I am 23 years old and 17 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a doula to provide support throughout my pregnancy and my birth. I plan on giving birth in a hospital or a possible birthing center. I am looking into the birthing center I am interested in here soon. I don’t have a budget or haven’t made on yet. I am still working on my birth plan this is my first pregnancy so everything is super new to me, I know I want an unmedicated birth that’s about all I know as of right now. I would like someone with years of experience, Christian, I want someone to be there to help be my voice. I dont really need additional duties, I just want someone to be by my side and listen to me. I’m super nervous and it’s kinda scary to me. I am excited as well just trying to deal with anxiousness. I am also looking for someone who works with Medicaid:)

Wondering if you take Kaiser insurance? I have doula benefits through Kaiser and I am looking for someone that will accept their insurance. Thanks!
Hi, I am looking for a doula and midwife. I am seeking a professional with a ceremonial background, as well. I am considering birthing at home or at a birthing center, depending on if I meet a midwife that I feel I want to journey with intimately. If not, I'll choose the birthing center. However, I am seeking a birth and postpartum doula that can support nourishment, ceremony, wellness, and practical support.
Looking for a postpartum doula. Ideally anyone who might be in network with Cigna
I am planning on giving birth at Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont. I am hoping to find a doula that is completely covered by Medicaid. I am still working on my birth plan but I know I don't want to labor on my back. It's been 13 years since my last child and my partners first. I struggled with breast feeding my first child and will need lactation support so I can hopefully follow through with breast feeding this child.
2nd baby, in hospital delivery at Longmont UCHealth Longs Peak. Looking primarily for labor support and support after the birth of our daughter. Day help or night help, it is all dependent on my insurance coverage. Start date would be when the baby comes (due date is 04/04) and duration is dependent on insurance.
This is my first baby, I plan on giving birth medicated but would like to know more about my options the care would be for me. Educate me on my body as I go through my pregnancy.
I plan to give birth in a hospital. I'm striving for an unmediated birth. I would like the doula to have knowledge in eastern medicine or herbalism. I try to practice tradition Chinese medicine principals where I can. I would love for the prenatal doula to help with herbal, dietary needs, help with guidance on unmedicated births, and help be an advocate at the hospital. Postpartum I would like help with training, cooking for mom, and education on how to best care for our baby when needed.
