Connections Package (Complete Birth- self pay)

This is a comprehensive package of prenatal visits, birth planning, intrapartum care, postpartum care. This will include up to 4 (6 hours max.) prenatal visits, intrapartum care, and up to 4 (8 hours max.) postpartum care. *Additional services may be added to include meals, house cleaning, and overnight care. Some additional services may be out resourced.

Soft Touch- self pay

This package includes:
2 Prenatal visits (up to 3 hours)- 1 mandatory to meet your birth support
Intrapartum Care
2 Postpartum Care (up to 4 hours)
Additional services and visits can be added.

What is a doula?

Doulas are nonclinical health care professional who provides physical and emotional support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and after birth.

What is the meaning behind the name of my business?

My mission is to provide culturally responsive, whole-person doula support rooted in my faith and guided by the belief that birth is sacred and every family deserves to be honored. Centered on Black birthing people and inclusive of all families—including immigrant and non-English-speaking communities—I offer education, advocacy, and compassionate care that supports informed decision-making and self-trust. Grounded in over 10 years of health equity work and 17 years of Medi-Cal experience, I walk alongside families as they navigate the healthcare system with clarity and confidence. Guided by Proverbs 18:16 — “A gift makes room”, I use the gifts God has given me to create space for healing, empowerment, and improved birth outcomes for generations to come.

Do you take private insurance?

Yes, I am a Medi-Cal provider. I also work with Kaiser and other plans. If your insurance carrier has a doula benefit and I am not on that plan, I may be willing to join a network, to support you. This only works if you are early in your pregnancy and the plan's response time is timely.

Do we match?

Well....I won't know until we consult, however, I want to assure you that there's no pressure to be the perfect client or have all the answers. This is your experience! I am a part of other birth collectives and if we find that we do not match, in partnership to create your best birth experience, then I will try my best to connect you to other wonderfully skilled doulas to support you.
