Would like to give birth at a birthing center if possible. A little too nervous to do an at home birth, but not wanting to give birth in a hospital if at all possible. If there is a nearby hospital in case of emergencies that would be great.

I’m seeing a provider but wanted a doula for the delivery of my daughter and after care.

I'm at least an hour away from any good hospitals, I have already given birth naturally to one child in a birthing center and it went extremely smooth and was a wonderful experience. We are trying to conceive again, and we just want to figure out how much money we need to save up because we have a Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO policy that likely will not cover any natural birth or home birth costs.

1. I have the option to deliver at my workplace UCI Medical Center in Orange CA and have a few options near Tempe/Chandler/Gilbert AZ 2. My budget is to use coinsurance from my Anthem PPO (BCBS) for prenatal care and may prefer not to have global billing 3. This is my second baby after an uncomplicated vaginal first birth with epidural. I am interested in exploring options that lower my out of pocket cost with ppo and would love a prenatal provider who can support the idea of the delivery happening at my own workplace which has its delivering providers on-call for rotation (with a backup plan close by in AZ)

I'm looking for a home birth midwife or a doula that will support an unassisted home birth. I'm hoping to find somone that will be affordable. We have Ahcccs.
