State certified doula or widwife that can be at banner north hospital when I give birth and support me as I give birth as a first time mom. Need someone experienced on giving birth in other positions that will advocate for me. I want delayed chord clamping and no epidural natural vaginal delivery. My insurance only covers $738 so I’d like to only pay about $500 out of pocket if possible

I’m currently looking for a midwife for my first baby and hoping to have a peaceful at-home water birth experience. My goal is to have a natural birth with as little intervention or medication as possible unless it’s truly necessary for safety reasons. I really want this experience to feel calm, connected, and spiritually meaningful for me and my baby. I’m also hoping to do a lotus birth and keep my baby attached to the placenta until the cord naturally falls off, and afterward I plan on burying my placenta for religious reasons. I would love to find a midwife who is understanding, supportive, and aligned with that kind of birth experience. My budget for a midwife is around $4,000 max, and I’m still deciding on a doula but would like to stay under $1,000 for that as well.

I plan to give birth at Banner–University Medical Center Tucson (Banner Main) in Tucson. I have Banner AHCCCS and am looking for a doula who accepts my insurance with no out-of-pocket cost. I would like support during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I prefer someone experienced with hospital births, supportive of my birth preferences, and knowledgeable about pain-management options. Spanish-speaking would be a plus. I would also appreciate help with childbirth education, creating a birth plan, labor comfort techniques, breastfeeding, and postpartum support.

I am looking for a qualified/licensed midwife who supports a natural, low-intervention approach to pregnancy and birth. I have a personal preference to avoid medications and pills whenever medically appropriate. I would like to prioritize nutrition, food-based approaches, lifestyle changes, and pregnancy-safe herbs or supplements when appropriate. I would like my provider to discuss natural alternatives with me when they are considered safe and effective. I understand that “natural” does not always mean safe during pregnancy, and I am willing to follow professional guidance regarding which foods, herbs, vitamins, and supplements are appropriate. If medication or medical intervention becomes necessary for my safety or my baby’s safety, I want my provider to explain the reason, risks, benefits, and alternatives whenever possible. I am also interested in a low-intervention home birth with appropriate prenatal monitoring, newborn care, postpartum care, and a clear emergency/hospital-transfer plan.

I'm currently 5 weeks and 6 days, September 12 2026 was the first day of my last period. I took a pregnancy test and got a positive. I have both united healthcare community plan through the state as well as united healthcare through my job. I do NOT want to deliver at St Joes or TMC. My first birth was 4/14/2017, my second was 01/31/2026. Both pregnancies had high intervention complications. In the first I was hospitalized with HG, the second pregnancy I had marginal placenta previa. Both vaginal births. But I was at Harmony, with Dr. Bradley while I had marginal placenta previa, and she did routine cervical checks that hurt really bad, and I don't ever want to experience that again. Another Dr, Dr. mercado delivered my First Born. Bradley delivered my second. I'm a white woman, married to a black man, and have experienced quite a bit of racial trauma in the past towards my family so it's important that we are respected completely as a mixed family. I would like to explore my options with a midwife and doula as a team.

I plan on having a home birth if possible if not a hospital birth would be fine but wondering if they provide tubs so I can have a water birth
