Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I’m a certified Full-Spectrum doula. I have experience supporting families through VBAC, high-risk pregnancies, and IVF journeys. I believe that every birth story is unique, and my role is to provide steady, compassionate support—emotionally, physically, and informationally—through each step of the process. My background includes working closely with clients navigating complex or medically supported births, and I’m deeply committed to creating a calm, empowering space where families feel safe, heard, and in control of their choices. Whether you’re preparing for a vaginal birth after cesarean, managing a high-risk pregnancy, welcoming a baby after fertility treatment, or have a generally "normal" pregnancy, I’m here to walk beside you with care and confidence. It’s an honor to support families during such a transformative time, and I’m grateful to be part of this work.

We hired Katelyn as our night doula. Katelyn is very good at taking care of babies. She helped us a lot in the first month postpartum. Our baby initially had some diaper rash and as new parent, we were worried about how to handle it. She quickly gave us really good advice of how to handle it. After that, our baby no longer had diaper rash! Another time our baby was not able to poop for two days and we were worried. She helped the baby with some movement and that night, the baby was able to poop! Her experience of taking babies is exceptional!

Parents: please share your EDD & contact info in the message body 🙏🏾 Birth doula of 13 years. This is my calling in life to be of service to labor/birth. I’m very grateful to have this as my service in this lifetime and believe every new life is a gift to be honored with care, love and respect for the process. Trained in techniques that encourage optimal fetal positioning by finding balance in the body (more comfort during pregnancy as well as labor/birth) optimal positioning helps labor be more comfortable, increasing odds of a efficient and smoother vaginal birth. I share these techniques with my clients in the third trimester to decrease the use of interventions & prevent trauma. Also practicing placenta encapsulation and massage therapy at Full Moon Birth & Family Wellness Center.

We had the most magical natural unmedicated birth experience in a hospital and we owe so much of it to Gretchen. Right from our first interaction when we were interviewing birth doulas, we were drawn by her warm nature. Her prenatal visits were extremely helpful be it the exercises she taught us to enable an optimal baby position for birth or her inputs into crafting our birth plan. We would have been lost with the information overload if not for her timely, targeted and super informative educational resources that have been extremely helpful to us as first time parents. She has always been a text or phone call away to address anything we needed. She brought in a sign of relief when she entered the labor room...her calming presence during my final stretch of labor and the positions she guided me through definitely helped me avoid an epidural. The icing on the cake was her singing a lullaby to our little one upon birth, it felt divine. She also captured beautiful moments of our baby's birth that we will cherish forever. I will always remember her positive affirmation 'You are stronger than you think!'. Can't thank you enough Gretchen for being the rockstar that you are and all your support to growing families :)

Carina is a second generation Filipinx and El Salvadoran queer and revolutionary full-spectrum doula. In an effort to embrace both of Carina's ancestral lineages, Carina is committing to the re-knowing/re-learning of advocacy for families on their journeys of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, miscarriages, loss, and abortion. Through this work, Carina devotes themself to re-membering the innate wisdom and powers of birthing people’s abilities to birth life into this earthly realm. In re-membering this ancient wisdom, Carina rejects harmful patriarchal systems and resists colonial structures of all forms. Carina provides additional support by bridging birthwork and astrology through careful observation of one’s cosmic makeup to identify any aspects and/or analyze current transits in the sky as it relates to someone's placements. She provides insights into the energies of a chart to instill a sense of calm, understanding, and presence through the sacred journey. In addition to Carina's duty to ensure their clients feel seen, held, and supported, she recognizes that every birthing person's experience is unique and as a result of this, ensures the care they receive is catered to their individual experiences. In and out of this work, Carina of Tandaan Mo (remember) La Tierra (the land) aims to uplift, support, honor, and advocate for all sacred portals.

I’ve got doula skills and am a birth expert, but what do I really do? I believe birth is a convergence of physiology, energy, spirit, psyche—and the deep wisdom of the birthing person and baby. Around October 2026, I should be able to start accepting insurance. My job? To honor and hold space for it and support it with everything I’ve got. I’m also a four-time postpartum survivor, and that experience lit a fire in me to make postpartum care stronger, smarter, and more supported for every family. My approach is real, grounded, and heart-led. I believe birth is powerful, people are wise, and support should always come with a dose of humor and a whole lot of heart. If you’re ready to dive into this work and be part of something bigger, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. I am a mother to four children ages 9 to 25 and a grandmother. I have 25 years' experience as a in healthcare providing caregiving, teaching for children in homeschool co-ops and my church. I've been a volunteer doula since 2015. And, in 2023 I started working full-time as a doula specializing in birthing, postpartum, newborn care and lactation. July of 2026, I updated all of my training certifications. I have taking 9 units, in Child Development. I provide Birthing Doula support and after the baby is born, I provide postpartum doula support. I also include lactation support if request. I would love to partner with you. My goal as a doula is to support mom and baby and make birth memorable.

Hi, I'm Kirstie — a certified birth and postpartum doula and peer lactation counselor serving expecting and new families in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my training through the Indie Birth Doula Academy and the H.E.R.B.A.L Academy and I bring that foundation into every client relationship with compassion, intention, and care. I believe that welcoming a new baby is one of life's most profound transitions — and no one should have to navigate it alone. Whether you're preparing for birth, settling into postpartum life, or finding your way through breastfeeding, I'm here to walk alongside you with steady, personalized support. I accept insurance through Kaiser Permanente NorCal, Health Net, and Alameda Health Alliance because your care shouldn't depend on your coverage. Flexible payment plans are also available for families without insurance coverage.

Kirstie was so amazing in guiding me through my birth. She taught me about having a birth plan and having it written it out so that doctors would follow my wishes. A birth plan was something I hadn’t even thought of but Kirstie was instrumental in helping me think ahead and giving me the best chance of having a safe birth for me and baby. She was also great in my postpartum. She checked in often and helped me breastfeeding. Teaching me massage that help milk production and foods I can eat also to help my milk supply. She thinks about all your needs before you even realize you need it. She’s a warm, calming presence to have at your most vulnerable time. There’s no other person I would recommend when looking for help in your birth and postpartum journey. Kirstie is simply the best!
