DoulaVitaB – Nurturing Births with Ocean’s Embrace Hello, I’m Vita, known as DoulaVitaB, a DONA International workshop-certified birth doula bringing warmth and wisdom to families in Greater Boston. Married for 35 years, mother of two grown children, and grandmother of two, I infuse your birth with the gentle rhythms of ocean waves and forest calm. I love cooking hearty meals, tending my vegetable garden, crafting baby shower flower arrangements, and offering butterfly massage—a soft, fluttering touch that soothes like a breeze. My heart sings during winter ocean plunges and forest bathing, guided by the universe and Mother Nature’s loving spirit. I help you dance through labor’s waves with cozy, proven techniques. Childbirth is an altered physiological state that requires rehearsal, not just mental preparation. My evidence-based approach, backed by DONA training, uses massage, visualization, and rhythmic breathing to empower your birth. I support families and collaborate with midwives/hospitals for optimal outcomes.

DoulaVitaB – Evidence-Based Birth Support in Greater Boston As a DONA International workshop-certified birth doula, I bring compassionate, evidence-based support to families. Married for 35 years, a mother of two, and a grandmother of two, I combine personal wisdom with professional training to create calm, empowering birth experiences inspired by the ocean’s rhythm. Childbirth is an altered physiological state that requires rehearsal, not just mental preparation. My evidence-based approach includes: • Breath in Intensity: Ocean-inspired breathing to manage contractions and promote relaxation. • Safe Somatic Sound: Vocalization to release tension and connect with your body’s instincts. • Rhythm, Ritual, Release: Rhythmic movement and personalized rituals for comfort and focus. • Partnered Support: Coaching partners to strengthen your birthing team. • Practiced Descent: Massage, acupressure, and visualization to prepare for labor and delivery. My services ($1,800 standard fee, flexible options) include two prenatal visits, continuous labor support through all four stages, and one postpartum visit. As I pursue full DONA certification, I offer volunteer services for select clients in exchange for feedback. Face-to-face prenatal sessions build our trusting bond.
