The cost of a night nanny in Wauwatosa, WI can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Wauwatosa, WI, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

My overall experience with her was beyond amazing. From the very beginning, she made me feel truly heard, seen, and supported. She has such a calm and reassuring presence that gave me confidence through every step of my journey. On the rare occasions when she wasn’t able to answer right away, I’ll admit I felt a little defeated in the moment, but she never left me hanging she always made it a priority to call back or respond as soon as she could. Whenever I had questions, she took the time to answer them thoroughly, and if she didn’t have the exact answer, she made sure to guide me in the right direction so I felt secure and informed. What stood out the most was how intentional and caring she was. I never once felt like just another client she truly invested her time, energy, and heart into making sure I was supported. That kind of dedication is rare, and it meant so much to me during such an important chapter of my life. I’m deeply grateful for everything she did for me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who goes above and beyond.

Every childbearing person deserves to feel supported, prepared, and unafraid as they navigate the wonders of pregnancy and childbirth. I’m both passionate and absolutely fascinated by this right of passage, and it is my highest privilege to guide others within their own birth stories. I became interested in childbirth education and birthwork when I was pregnant with our first baby. My partner and I attended a Bradley Method course kind of as a fluke, and it was life-changing. I did not realize how much I did not know! In addition to completing the Bradley Method course and experiencing the birth of my two children, I have worked in child and infant care for many years, including private nanny services, NatureSense Childcare Center, and The Madison Isthmus Montesorri Nedo (or nursery). I completed my Full Spectrum Doula Training, including prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum care, as well as training in fetal positioning and lactation support with Cornerstone Birthwork Training, and am certified in Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid through the Red Cross. I specialize in whole-food nutrition and dietary considerations for those with autoimmune disease and chronic illness. I live with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Crohn’s Disease and have been developing and collecting recipes and home remedies for over 10 years! I’m an expert swaddler, baby bather, sleep wrangler, lullaby lilter, routine guru, space optimizing organizer, Story reader, and love to color and play Legos with kid siblings.

Leah was there for me 24/7 if I needed her or had a question, and has been 100% there for us from prenatal to postpartum. She kept me grounded and connected to what was happening to my body throughout my pregnancy and was knowledgeable about what I could do to help ease any pain or discomfort. Leah thoroughly prepared me for and guided me through each stage of labor and taught me how to recognize when it was time to go to the hospital. Leah offered so much support and reminded me that this is my pregnancy, my body, and while in the hospital, my voice is important. She made sure I understood that I had the right to ask questions and to say no at any point. She made me feel empowered. After our baby was born, Leah helped us feel confident in our abilities and has been an invaluable presence in our household for these first months. We are so happy to have had her by our side through this amazing experience.

As a certified doula of color with extensive training in lactation support, birth, postpartum care, and infant feeding (including baby-led weaning), I am deeply committed to providing safe and empowering care for women and all birthing individuals. Recognizing the historical disparities in modern medicine for women of color, my practice centers on ensuring you, your baby, and your family feel secure and well-supported throughout your prenatal, birthing, and postpartum journey. I reside in the Milwaukee area but am willing to travel within the state of Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

After having two traumatic birth experiences caused by negligent doctors I decided for my third and final pregnancy that I would take a leap of faith and go with a doula to advocate for me and make sure my final birth experience would be on MY terms. With the help of Brianna and my midwife team, I had an extremely peaceful and empowering unmedicated birth experience with no interventions from any doctor. I had complete and total faith and trust in Brianna to make decisions that I would make after extensive conversations and consultations about what my ideal birth experience would look like. Brianna took all of my stress and worry away and I was able to 100% focus on the flows of active labor and she supported me through it 100%. And she not only supported me through birth, but the days that followed. I wish I had gone this route with my previous two but how lucky am I that I got to have this experience the third time around.
