I plan to give birth in a hospital. This is my first pregnancy, and I want to try to attempt the whole labor and delivery process without an epidural, if i can or for as long as i can, and if i cant handle it then possibly get an epidural. I need someone to help coach me through the process of labor and delivery when my early labor starts to when i go to hospital and even while pushing. I also need someone to help advocate for me and my husband at the hospital in case the nurses and doctors try over stepping and pushing things on us. We want to avoid certain vaccines for baby as well. I want to avoid getting induced. I plan to give birth at a hospital. I do not have a budget specified for this—not sure what the cost range is. Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible. I am looking for an experienced certified doula who has experience with Black birthing people. I am 42 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am high risk for pre-clampsia.

I am planning on giving birth at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. This will be my first pregnancy so I’m uncertain about what to do, I haven’t created a birth plan yet. I would like an experienced doula to assist navigating me through my pregnancy and after.
