First baby, giving birth in West Los Angeles and looking for an in-network provider with Anthem Blue Cross PPO insurance. I have had a lot of trouble finding an in-network provider with my commercial insurance.

I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). My budget is $5k max if possible but not sure how much these services are (would like to use insurance if I can). My insurance is Aetna Choice II POS.
