More than anything, I’m looking for someone who will help me feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process. My partner will be with me during labor, and I’d love a doula who works well alongside partners and helps us both feel prepared. I’m looking for someone who provides emotional support, comfort measures, guidance through labor positions and breathing techniques, and gentle advocacy so we can make informed decisions together. Because this is our first baby, it’s important to me to build a trusting relationship before birth. I am giving birth at Kaiser in Baldwin Park . I am Christian and would love a doula who can pray over me as we listen to worship music during my contractions.

I plan to give birth at a birth center with a midwife and hope to have an unmedicated, low-intervention birth if it is safe for me and my baby. I'm looking for a patient-centered doula who can advocate for my needs on delivery day. I want an easeful, peaceful birth where I can feel like my needs are fully heard. I haven't had the best experience with my Kaiser doctors thus far. I'll be delivering at Kaiser Sunset (I am a Kaiser patient so would need someone who takes KP insurance). Birth plan is low intervention/no rush, epidural.
