I am due in September and planning to give birth in a hospital (UC Health - Anschutz). I have not decided on a birth plan yet. My insurance plan is with Aetna PPO (through my work). I would ideally like a doula that is African American (as I am) but I am open to other backgrounds as well.

Budget is flexible (I'm not sure what the going rate is, and depends on what kinds of services are included) My plan is for a natural, minimally medicated, calm birth where I can move freely. I am a single IVF momma by choice and looking for a doula to help fill that partner & advocate role for when the big day comes plus some general birth prep.
