  • Birth Setting

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Hi! My name is Yasmina. As a DONA-certified Birth Doula based in Greenwich, CT, I offer my clients evidence-based and curated support before, during, and after labor. From helping you make your birth plan that ensures you communicate your cultural, medical, and personal preferences to your care provider during labor, to working you through breathwork during those tough contractions, my aim is to make my clients' births special, sacred times that reflect their values and unique personalities. I am also trained in Spinning Babies techniques, lactation support, and Baby and Child First Aid. I offer my clients a very hands-on approach to birth support. I take my job as a birth doula very seriously and give my all to every birth I attend - emotionally and physically.

Yasmina was a vital part of my second pregnancy and labor and delivery. I don’t know what I would have done without her. To give some background, I had an emergency cerclage put in and I reached out to Yasmina after to inquire about her doula services. She listened to my concerns, my backstory, and my wishes. Not only was she attentive and caring, but because she knew there was a possibility the baby would be born early, she had a backup doula in case she was not back from out of town. That doula was also so attentive and was full of knowledge as well. Yasmina checked in with me consistently and when it was time, she came to the hospital immediately after I confirmed she should come. When there, she had so many strategies to help calm my mind and my body. She helped me think through decisions when it came to my labor and the hospital/doctors and she advocated for me. Yasmina knew I wanted to go natural/no epidural or Pitocin and we made a plan to do so. As the pain got more and more intense, she was encouraging and suggested different positions and coached me through the contractions and hard times. She applied pressure and made suggestions and had music and lighting and smells to set the scene in addition to different tools to help me through. I was in labor for about 3 hours and when it came time that I felt I couldn’t go any further because the pain was a 10/10, she continuously cheered me on until it was time to push. While pushing she advocated for me when I couldn’t even talk. When things got scary after baby came out, she held my hand and calmed me. After things were settled she made sure I was okay before she left. Afterwards, she checked up on me many times. I was not able to have a doula during my first labor because it was during COVID, Yasmina made my second labor a COMPLETELY different experience in a positive way. The first time I tore a second degree and my cervix lacerated, the second time with her I only had first degree tears and a good recovery and I truly believe it was because she calmed me and helped me relax my body as much as possible during labor. I highly recommend Yasmina to be your doula. She is knowledgeable, understanding and good at what she does!

In addition to midwifery and lactation care, I offer aesthetic services and IV hydration therapies to promote vitality, confidence, and optimal health at every stage of life.

Nicole Chen was an incredible support throughout my breastfeeding journey. I was having a very difficult time with my baby struggling to latch, finding out my baby was tongue-tied, and dealing with a low milk supply. It was an emotional and overwhelming experience, but Nicole was patient, knowledgeable, and so encouraging every step of the way. She took the time to listen to my concerns, offered practical techniques to improve latching, explained how my baby's tongue tie could affect feeding, and gave me realistic guidance and support for increasing my milk production. Most importantly, she never made me feel judged or discouraged. Her compassion, expertise, and reassurance gave me the confidence to keep trying. I am so grateful for her care and would highly recommend Nicole Chen to any new parent looking for a caring, supportive, and experienced midwife and breastfeeding advocate.

Martha Alicia Hudson

With over 20 years of experience supporting families across six countries, I bring a deep understanding of the diverse ways cultures nurture parent-child relationships. My journey into birth work began as a Health Community Worker, advocating for immigrant Latino families in New York. Later, while working at a mental health agency in Connecticut, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that nurturing, consistent, and responsive caregiving has on a child’s development. This realization fueled my passion for family support and led me to become a Birth and Postpartum Doula, ensuring families receive guidance and care from the very start of their parenting journey. Three years ago, I earned my certification in Perinatal Mental Health, allowing me to further support families through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and culturally informed space for every family I serve.

Martha brought a level of joy, reassurance and experience to our daughters birth we didn’t even know we needed. Every step of the way through my pregnancy she checked in on me and provided the guidance I needed. Our birth changed pretty rapidly but Martha’s positivity and expertise made the entire experience more enjoyable. We were able to really focus on the birth while she helped guide those around us on decisions we made beforehand. Pregnancy doesn’t just stop after birth, the emotional and physical work continues after you’re home as well. Martha is there by your side through it all! She helped change my postpartum experience immensely, I cannot thank her enough. I will forever recommend The Knitting Doula!

Hi, I’m Angela — a mother, grandmother, and postpartum doula based in New Jersey, proudly serving families throughout the NJ/NY/CT tristate area. I am deeply passionate about supporting families during the tender and transformative postpartum period, offering calm, compassionate care when it’s needed most. I have supported over 40 families and their newborns, some through birth, and several others through overnight postpartum care and newborn support, helping parents rest, recover, and confidently adjust to their new reality. While I also provide daytime care, my primary focus is overnight support for families who need specialized, hands-on assistance during the early weeks after birth. My passion for postpartum care grew from my own journey into motherhood, when I realized how essential it is for birthing parents to feel nurtured, supported, and truly seen after birth. What began as caring for family and friends naturally evolved into my calling as a postpartum doula. Later on, I expanded my work to support expectant mothers throughout pregnancy and birth, offering compassionate physical and emotional care. In addition to my doula work, I bring over 15 years of experience caring for children and teenagers, along with nearly two decades of volunteer service supporting parents, children, and teens in my community. I approach every family with warmth, respect, and a wholehearted commitment to helping you feel confident, supported, and cared for during this beautiful new chapter.

Hi, I’m Linda. I’m a caring and compassionate doula dedicated to supporting families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and early infancy. I believe that this journey is not only physical, but deeply emotional and mental as well, and I’m here to walk alongside the parent/parents through it all. I have extensive experience supporting inductions, as well as guiding families through the early days of infancy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where parents feel heard, informed, and empowered. I’m passionate about helping parents understand their options, build confidence, and feel truly prepared for both birth and the transition into life with a new baby. Whether navigating pregnancy, preparing for labor, or adjusting to infancy, I’m here to offer guidance, encouragement, and education every step of the way as I believe every single parent whether first baby or 7th baby a doula is beneficial and every parent birth or not deserves that guidance.

I truly can’t recommend Linda enough! I hired her around the beginning of my second trimester, and she was such a wonderful source of support throughout the rest of my pregnancy journey. From helping me feel more informed and prepared for birth to answering my questions and talking through my concerns, Linda was always patient, supportive, and reassuring. She helped me better understand my options when it came to labor and delivery, talked with me about comfort and coping techniques, and made sure I felt confident making decisions that were right for me. One of the things I appreciated most was knowing I had someone I could reach out to when I had questions or simply needed reassurance. Pregnancy can come with so many emotions and uncertainties, and having that extra support made such a difference for me. Linda genuinely cares about the moms and families she works with, and I’m so grateful that she was part of my pregnancy journey. If you’re considering having a doula for prenatal, birth, or postpartum support, I absolutely recommend reaching out to her. ❤️
