We are looking for a midwife to assist in having a home birth.
I am looking for a midwife to support my husband and I during our first birth and at home birth. I just need a professional to be there and give me emotional support to keep us safe and informed during the whole process!
First baby, I am 15 weeks today, looking to give birth at Carteret Health Care (Morehead City). I’m not sure what my budget is, I’m looking to see if my health insurance will cover this, I have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO). I’m open to discussing birth plans & in person is preferred. My husband travels for work so I have/will be alone for most of my pregnancy. I’m very new to all of this so some guidance is definitely requested.
The plan is a at home birth. Currently 20 weeks and 3 days. Due date is estimated February 28, no current plan as of yet. First baby I want the experience at home birth, with minimal risk .
