I'm originally from London, England, and I first became interested in birth work when I moved to the U.S. 8 years ago — I was so surprised at how different the cultural interpretations of birth are here compared to the U.K. About 4 years ago, I started reading and learning more about the different experiences of birth around the world, and I have never looked back!

As a doula, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families through a wide variety of birth experiences, including inductions, unmedicated and medicated births, cesarean births, VBAC/TOLAC, and high-risk pregnancies. I especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking families and helping bridge language and communication gaps so that they feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. My approach is warm, calm, educational, and judgment-free. I believe there is no single “right” way to give birth or navigate postpartum. In addition to my work as a birth and postpartum doula, I am currently furthering my education by completing certifications as a Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Consultant. Alondra has further enriched her expertise through work with Public Health Solutions, honing her skills in community-centered care. Drawing from her Salvadoran and Dominican roots, Alondra takes a holistic approach, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit throughout the reproductive and parenting journey.
