About me

I’m a postpartum doula who shows up for families during the intense and often unpredictable weeks after birth. My own postpartum experience had its challenges, and it shaped the way I care for others. I focus on making sure parents feel supported, listened to, and not alone in it. Families tend to describe me as warm, steady, and easy to talk to. I bring a calm presence and real-life experience into each home. I live in Colorado with my wife, our almost four-year-old son, and our crew of dogs, so I understand the day-to-day realities that come with a growing family. I’m fluent in Spanish and English and care deeply about supporting families who don’t always feel seen or prioritized in this space. I aim to create an environment that feels respectful, comfortable, and inclusive. Outside of work, I spend time thrifting, getting outdoors, and cooking traditional Mexican recipes that have been passed down in my family. I meet families where they are, without judgment, and with consistent, thoughtful support.

Service introduction

I support families in Denver during the early postpartum weeks with practical, steady care. I’m bilingual (English and Spanish) and offer overnight support, newborn care guidance, feeding support, and hands-on help around the house like meals, laundry, and keeping things running smoothly. I show up on time, every time, so you can count on consistent, reliable support. My goal is simple: help you get rest, feel confident with your baby, and have someone dependable in your corner when it matters most.

Yara helped us so much in our journey! She was very flexible(especially since my last baby came two weeks early!) in arrival to the hospital in the middle of the night, bringing packed meals, and helping prepare space for our growing family. I felt so much support through her mentally and physically, because she was so welcoming and comforting. She was able to know exactly what I needed or may want and made the experience that much easier!

So thankful to have had Yara through the postpartum period with our little one! We had her help us for the first 6 weeks after coming home from the hospital and at every visit she was timely, respectful, incredibly warm and knowledgeable. It was an investment that I would make over and over again! Thanks so much, Yara. Our little family loves you!
