Canton area birth Natural birth Non-medicated Limited budget Preferred home birth
I would like to have a home birth. This will be my 5th baby. Needing a midwife covered by amerihealth caritas ohio medicaid. I'd love a water birth, this will be my last baby and it would be the only one as a water birth.
Home birth, just my husband, mom, and midwife, no budget
I just want to be home, in my own environment to be able to give birth to my baby. I am a nurse but I am not well versed in the complications that can come with pregnancy and delivery. I want to be at home, with a water birth. I know your time is valuable and was hoping of a budget around 1,800. I would like to talk over the phone about typical birth and what to do if something happens. This is my first baby, again I do not know much.
Home or hospital Cheap as possible unless covered under insurance Would like a natural birth
I am currently 18 weeks into my second pregnancy and looking for a birth doula. My intention is to have a VBAC at Summa hospital. I would like to keep my budget to under $1200.
A midwife that isn't too far and accepts my insurance (caresource) I plan to give birth at Summa but can at a different hospital if needed.
First baby, planning to have a hospital birth in Akron, OH. I would like to have an unmedicated birth. I am currently 15 weeks.
Home water birth, no budget, willing to follow my wants as long as baby and I (mom) are healthy
Looking for a midwife for prenatal care. With my previous pregnancy, I had planned for a homebirth but passed 42 weeks and ended up needing a C-section. I would like midwife care before the birth(currently only 5 weeks along) but we plan to give birth at a hospital this time because of our previous experience.
Birth plan is hopefully unmedicated, natural birth. I am having twins and already am hearing from doctors and family members that "It's too much, just do a C-section" I don't want to have a C-section and I want to avoid an epidural if possible. I don't have really much in the list category yet but that's my main goal. And hopefully minimal tearing if there's tricks to prevent that. No routine episiotomy. Not sure on a budget, not sure how much a doula or a midwife would cost. I plan to give birth at Akron General, but nothing set in stone.
Certified professional midwife services in Macedonia Ohio for home birth of first child.
I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. I haven’t been to the OB, but I’ve had 3 positive tests. I am also fairly certain of the day I ovulated, that’s how I came up with the due date. My husband and I have not settled down in a house yet, we have been traveling around the country since we got married. We are thinking about buying a house in Steubenville but still don’t know for sure. I am just looking to see what my options would be. We would love the price to not be more than $4000 if possible. We don’t have insurance. I have also been doing research and I am really leaning toward only doing the 20 week scan. I want there to be as little intervention as is prudent and necessary. But I want to make sure a midwife would still accept me if I only do the 20 week scan/any necessary tests. I would probably know for sure where I will be living and can come to the area around 24 weeks. Steubenville is a high possibility. Would anyone near enough to the Steubenville area be willing/available to take me in my situation? Thanks :)
I am a first time mother and don't know what to expect. I have been nervous about the lack of communication from my OB's office and need general education and reassurance more than anything. I need to know what questions to ask. I don't know enough about this to know what my budget should be. I just need more information.
