About Yvonne

Greetings! My name is Yvonne and I am a full spectrum doula with over four years of experience in providing support and care to individuals during their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period. One aspect of my role as a doula that I find particularly rewarding is advocating for the birthing person's wishes and preferences. In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother and grandmother, which has further enriched my understanding and empathy for the journey of becoming a parent.

Birth & Postpartum Doula services

I provide pregnancy support which would include emotional support, education and resources as well as assisting with birth plans and preferences, answering any questions about prenatal care and offering guidance on nutrition and exercise. I offer childbirth support during labor and delivery which would consist of comfort measures such as massage, breathing techniques, assisting with movement and position changes and providing reassurance throughout the birthing process. After childbirth, I offer support during the postpartum period. This support would include breastfeeding support, assisting with physical recovery, guidance with newborn care and bonding, and helping with practical tasks such as meal preparation and light household chores.
