I am planning a water birth at home! I have the support I need for everything except the actual birth! I need somebody who knows what they’re doing as I am a first time mom and want to avoid the hospital unless absolutely necessary. If the hospital becomes necessary, I would like you to join me there until birthing is completed to advocate that I want an extremely hands-off birth, if at a hospital. As I said, I just need somebody who knows how to help me through giving birth for the first time in my home.

First time mom looking for support when it comes to birth planning, navigating labour and having another person to be a voice/advocate for my husband and I during the delivery. Plan to give birth in the hospital with an OB. I am unsure what the price ranges are for a doula, but if $500 is doable that would be a comfortable range for us.

Looking to have someone in my corner while giving birth. Someone who knows my birth plan. This is baby number 3 for me and there is so much I’ve learned and want to do differently. I thought giving birth at home would be great but that seems to be a bit harder than I first thought out to be. But having someone who knows in the hospital with me would be fantastic. I don’t exactly have a budget. This will be my first time being with one. Birth plan has always been get the baby out safe. I definitely don’t want any of the extra stuff they try to do or “try to help” you with getting the baby out. I want delayed cord clamping as far as it can go and I know most consider it to be 1-5 minutes which doesn’t seem long enough to me. I know hospitals have protocols about doing certain things and I want someone who’s listening while I am labouring because that in itself is hard enough.

I am planning a home birth and am looking for a doula who can provide calm, steady and supportive care throughout both labor and the postpartum period. I really value a relaxed and comforting presence. Someone who helps me feel safe, grounded and supported during the experience. It’s also important to me that my doula respects and is open to my spiritual beliefs and is comfortable supporting that aspect of my birth in a natural and respectful way. My budget is around $1200. My birth plan is fairly simple. We’re aiming for a low-intervention, peaceful home birth environment and I’m looking for someone who aligns with that approach and can support both practically and emotionally throughout.

Planning to give birth in bonnyville Alberta. I would love to have an unmedicated birth if everything allows. In my birth plan I do have the flexibility and open mind of doing what my body needs at the time. I would love to have a doula or midwife just for some guidance around the unmediated birth.

Looking for support for my labour and delivery. Someone who can accommodate my needs and coach/assist me through this. I’m looking to have a minimal- no intervention water birth and would be important to have someone who is experienced in this. This is my second pregnancy; my last delivery was unmedicated (besides pitocin) delivered vaginally with no complications. I am set up to give birth at the hospital at this moment but if I did happen to find a midwife/doula I would be interested in a home birth if I had the right supports set up. Birth plan: -Low lights, fairy lights electric candles set up sound healing music. -Breathe through contractions -No epidural, Water birth. Maybe laughing gas if pain is really bad. -Absolutely no being induced -Natural water rupture. -No membrane sweep. -Privacy minimal staff in room no students.(having students learn while in labour made me stressed and feel uneasy) -Intermittent monitoring not continuously monitoring. -Delay cord clamping 7-15 min. Cord is white -Are cervix checks necessary? Only checked if requested by me -Do I have to stay in hospital if I had no interventions? -Naturally birth placenta, no pitocin or cord traction. -Wait for my body to push on its own no forced pushing. -No fundal massage unless there excessive bleeding. -Vitamin k drops not injected.

Hospital birth. Doesn't have an idea how much is a doula service. My husband will be away from the moment I gave birth until November so it'll be me, my mom and my sister who will take care of the baby. Thinking of an additional help when it comes to all baby needs on the first couple months
