Must be able to handle gassy, colic baby at night..
C section care for mom and take care of newborn for first 2 weeks atleast
I’ve had inconsistent docs and my OB is incredibly hands off. This is our first baby and my husband and I are very type A. We have no family in town and we’d like someone to check in on the baby and I in the days after the birth. I’m a little older than typical mothers and I’ve lost two babies before this. Needless to say I’d be less anxious with someone to just guide me a little. I don’t mind not having anyone in the hospital but for sure the days after baby comes home with feeding questions. Lactation questions and general questions or just to check on mom’s health. I have a birth plan in place at the royal Alex. I don’t care too much about experience but definitely someone that won’t have me questioning their input and help and suggestions

First time mom looking for support when it comes to birth planning, navigating labour and having another person to be a voice/advocate for my husband and I during the delivery. I am planning a home birth and am looking for a doula who can provide calm, steady and supportive care throughout both labor and the postpartum period. I really value a relaxed and comforting presence. Someone who helps me feel safe, grounded and supported during the experience. It’s also important to me that my doula respects and is open to my spiritual beliefs and is comfortable supporting that aspect of my birth in a natural and respectful way. My budget is around $1200. My birth plan is fairly simple. We’re aiming for a low-intervention, peaceful home birth environment and I’m looking for someone who aligns with that approach and can support both practically and emotionally throughout.

1. I’d love to have a home birth if it’s possible. This is my first ever birth and I want it to be in a very comfortable setting. 2. I haven’t thought about budget and don’t really know what this sort of thing costs. 3. I don’t have one yet
