Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m a DONA Certified Birth Doula & Advanced VBAC Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, owner of Saltwater Doula, and an educator and agency coordinator at the Relief Doula Agency based out of Relief Parenting Respite and Resource Center in Hampton, NH. I am also the lucky mom of two sweet and salty girls! I offer prenatal, birth, postpartum, and lactation services to families in Portsmouth, Dover, Exeter, Manchester and other areas throughout the seacoast and southern New Hampshire. I provide support for clients of all kinds. This includes clients who wish to go unmedicated or are planning on an epidural, those with scheduled c-sections or who are preparing for a VBAC. I am there for you whether you are planning to birth at a hospital, at home, or at a local birth center. As your birth doula, my goal is to support you (without bias or judgement) in any way you may need throughout your pregnancy, labor, and the delicate days of the 4th trimester. I’m so glad you’ve made your way here and are in search of doula support!

There was no way to know ahead of time how medically complex my birth would end up being, and having Ashley on our team was a huge part of what made such a wild, chaotic, adventurous birth still somehow a wonderful one. It's hard to adequately express how much her support, grounding, kindness, humor, steadfastness, confidence, and care meant to our entire family. I earnestly would not want to experience birth without her. If you're expecting and thinking about getting a doula - DO IT!!! And if you're a NH local and you're looking for the best one around, your search is over because Ashley's it!

I support families in the weeks and months after baby arrives. In person, virtually, all across Hampton and the surrounding NH towns, southern Maine, and the North Shore of MA. Most nights I'm in your home while you sleep. I handle the feeds, the diaper changes, the 3am stuff, so you can actually rest instead of running on empty. Daytime shifts look different depending on what you need that day. Some families want a hand with the baby. Some want help around the house. Some just want someone there who knows what they're doing. I used to get tangled up in the idea that paid support wasn't as real as a village showing up for free, but I don't anymore. When I was in it myself, some of the people who showed up were paid and some weren't. In the moment, I didn't care which was which. I was just glad someone was there. What matters is whether the person in your house is actually present with you, not just going through the motions. That's what I try to be.

Kourtney is gift to the postpartum world. We will forever be grateful for her help in our first nights as new parents and her continued support to this day. Her calm demeanor immediately put us at ease and we felt so comfortable knowing that our baby was under her care during her overnight stays. She is incredibly organized and knowledgeable. We loved that she created a live notes doc to update us on our son and also provided us links and information on questions we had asked. Kourtney wants the best for families and we truly felt this support. Even just recently she met with me to go over a carseat concern I had and was able to fix the problem in minutes. We love Kourtney and could not recommend working with her more!

I'm resourceful and I find joy in sharing information that gives my mommas/families confidence in their journey. My passion is seeing people thrive in whichever way that looks for them. I love what I do and its not a job, but a calling. I've been a Doula for 4 years and have assisted in over 50 labors, and served many more families. I will travel by flight, if you need me too as well!

My time with Natasha was amazing, I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to have such an amazing doula throughout my pregnancy. From the very beginning, she was incredibly understanding, supportive, patient, and caring. She always made me feel heard and never judged me for anything I was feeling or going through. Pregnancy can be overwhelming, both physically and emotionally, and having someone who was there to listen, reassure me, and support me made such a huge difference. She was always willing to answer my questions, check in on me, and make sure I felt comfortable and supported every step of the way. She made me feel like I wasn’t going through everything alone, and I'm thankful for the support she gave me during such an important time in my life. I would absolutely recommend her to any expecting mom looking for someone who is compassionate, understanding, dependable, and genuinely cares about her clients. She was amazing throughout my pregnancy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better doula!

Working with Alondra was an amazing experience! She was a soothing and knowledgeable presence from the beginning. She was intentional in her communication and fielded all my questions. She genuinely cared about my baby as she checked in with me after all my appointments. She helped me create a birth plan and was super supportive. She encouraged my husbands participation in my labor and birth and made sure he also felt supported during this. As someone who wanted to labor at home and then go to the hospital for a water birth, it came as a surprise to me when my water broke well before labor started. I knew that this increased my risk for infection but Alondra was supportive of my decision to give my body time to allow labor to start naturally. It had been well over 24 hours and my labor had not started which allowed fear and worry to creep in on my husband and I. Alondra made the decision to join us at our house prior to us all going to the hospital. She was able to provide the emotional support both my husband and I needed but didn't realize it. Alondra then came with us to the hospital. Seeing the hospital room and knowing I was going to have to do my entire labor there which was not what I wanted triggered a lot of emotion for me. Alondra created a beautiful moment for my husband and played our wedding song and had us slow dance. It's a moment I'll never forget and am so grateful for. Alondra continued to encourage me to do some exercises and positioning techniques to help quicken labor. Before I knew it, active labor had started without the need for pitocin. Alondra supported my husband through supporting me and also helped with certain positions and techniques to make me as comfortable as possible. Just 12 hours after getting to the hospital, our sweet baby boy was born. Although it wasn't as I had planned, I was still able to have an all natural water birth. I truly would not have been able to do it without Alondra!

I can’t recommend Tanya enough as a doula! She was incredibly supportive, caring, and attentive throughout my entire birth experience, going above and beyond to make sure I felt prepared, supported, and empowered. Tanya provided helpful exercises and tools to prepare me for labor, offered both physical and emotional support throughout the birthing process, and helped me navigate the different stages of labor. She also translated and explained things with the medical team so I could better understand what was happening. Most importantly, she helped me stay focused on my birth preferences and advocated for me when I needed it most. She has such a warm and calming presence while also being confident and assertive when necessary. I had a challenging labor without an epidural, and Tanya’s physical and mental support made such a huge difference in helping me get through it. She helped me feel stronger, more grounded, and more confident throughout the experience. I’m so grateful to have had her by my side during such a meaningful and intense experience. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated doula who will truly go above and beyond for you, I wholeheartedly recommend Tanya!

ERIN HAGERTY STEVENS | erin.hagety@gmail.com | (857)600-8005 | Duxbury, Massachusetts Overnight Nanny | Newborn, Preemie & Multiples Care | Family Assistant PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Experienced childcare provider, childcare-business operator and mother of three with decades of hands-on experience caring for children, beginning with non-sibling childcare at approximately age 12. Former owner/operator of a childcare service in Bondi, Australia, where I developed and executed the marketing plan, grew the client base, coordinated additional American nannies and traveled with families throughout Australia. Earlier childcare experience includes independently creating and operating children's summer camps in Duxbury and serving as a substitute teacher in a local pre-K environment. Mother of identical premature twins, now age 11, whom I cared for from birth while simultaneously raising their then-3-year-old sister. Extensive experience with multiples, overnight infant care, feeding and sleep routines, infant reflux, dairy allergies, dietary restrictions and the realities of managing several young children's needs at once. A Communications graduate of Tulane University, I place particular importance on understanding the individual I am interacting with—whether a child, parent or fellow caregiver—and treating each person with respect. Calm, adaptable, nurturing and highly organized, I work particularly well in team-parenting environments and can quickly shift from focused one-on-one care to monitoring and engaging multiple children. Children have different personalities, abilities, sensitivities, communication styles and developmental needs. I believe effective childcare requires observing those differences, listening carefully and adapting how I communicate and engage while maintaining appropriate boundaries, consistency and safety. I am equally comfortable providing focused individual attention or shifting quickly into group supervision when several children need attention at once. I also value a collaborative relationship with parents and other caregivers so that children receive consistent expectations and support. ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Senior Marketing & Communications Professional Accomplished senior marketing and communications professional with extensive experience developing marketing strategies and managing complex projects, budgets, events, schedules, vendors and cross-functional teams. We had a great experience with Ashley! She was always available and able to help during both the prenatal and postpartum periods. Her questions were thoughtful and helped me think through our priorities, understand my anxieties, and offer great suggestions for both the birth and postpartum periods. Ashley was at my birth, which was really fast so there was not much time for anything, but she was great at helping my husband know how to be helpful during the birth and offered really good massage and lactation support. She knew my birth preferences front to back and was helpful as the go-between when necessary. She were especially good at calming me down while I was waiting to go into labor and offering tips to activate labor. She is a wealth of knowledge and a fabulous support system during such a vulnerable time.
