To this day, I believe my own experience of childbirth with my daughter would have been positively different if I had the opportunity of having a doula. Creating life and bringing it into this world is a superpower women have, and I want to empower other women from all walks of life through this physical, emotional, and spiritual process. I have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2015. Prior to becoming an IBCLC, I was a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2006. My passion for breastfeeding truly came when I breast fed my first child, born in 2007. I have three children and eleven years of personal breastfeeding experience. I joined Rush Copley Medical Center as a Lactation Counselor in 2013 and held this position until transitioning to an IBCLC in 2015, further adding to my expertise in NICU, Pediatrics, and outpatient complex cases. I have helped thousands of parents reach their goals over the last decade. I am an active USLCA member and have had advanced training in TOTs (tethered oral tissues), as well as completion of the holistic course, the IBCLC Masters Class. I am sub-contracted with North Shore Lactation since March 2022.
