Hi there! I’m Andrea, a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Newborn Care Specialist, CLE and Sleep Consultant with nearly two decades of experience supporting babies and families. My background includes 10 years in childcare and another 10 years in birth and postpartum work, giving me the opportunity to support families through so many different seasons of welcoming and caring for a new baby. Whether you’re preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or working through feeding and sleep, my goal is to provide support that feels both personal and practical. My approach is calm, compassionate, evidence-based, and deeply individualized. I believe every family is different, and there is no one “right” way to birth, parent, feed, or care for your baby. My role is to help you understand your options, feel confident making the choices that are right for your family, and provide hands-on and emotional support without judgment along the way. I believe birth and postpartum are sacred, transformative seasons that deserve genuine connection, informed support, and compassionate care. It’s truly a joy to walk alongside families as they grow and help them feel heard, respected, confident, and cared for. ✨ **Currently booking 2027 births, with limited Postpartum availability remaining for November 2026.** 🍼 **Sleep consulting and newborn care education inquiries are always welcome.** 🤱 **Beginning Fall 2026, I will also be offering lactation support!**

Working with my Andrea was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. From our prenatal visits, she brought a sense of calm and reassurance that helped put both my husband and I at ease. During labor, her guidance of comfort measures and steady presence helped me stay focused and confident throughout. She anticipated needs before we had to ask and created a supportive environment for everyone. Even after delivery she stayed with us to make sure I felt comfortable, and cared for in those first moments postpartum.

Hey Y'all, My name is Kara. I fell in love with the idea of helping families during their birth and postpartum journey after having Ovarian Cancer, and having a total hysterectomy. Although I was no longer able to physically have any more children, I realized so many families lack the support they need and want to bring their babies into this world. Nor do they have the support those crucial first few month once baby is home. I include the entire family during each process. Whether it's parents, siblings, or even fur babies. I would love to help set the foundation that will carry your family through this incredible journey by building a strong relationship of trust and guidance. My knowledge includes, but is not limited to lactation, childbirth education, breastfeeding , massage therapy, infant care, birth, and postpartum services and procedures. I recognize that every individual and every birth is unique, and I strive to create a customized birth plan that aligns with your preferences, values, and desires. Whether you are planning a natural birth, a water birth, or a medically-assisted birth, I will work closely with you and your healthcare team to ensure that your needs are met and your voice is heard. My goal is to empower you with evidence-based information and emotional support, helping you navigate the various stages of labor with confidence and peace of mind. By choosing me as your doula, you can rest assured that you will receive unwavering support, advocacy, and guidance throughout your entire journey. I know that choosing a doula for your birth and postpartum experience is a decision that can greatly enhance and empower your journey into parenthood, and I am dedicated to providing unparalleled support and care. As a trained and experienced doula, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and a deep understanding of the physical and emotional aspects of childbirth and everything encompassing postpartum. From prenatal visits to postpartum care, I am committed to being a trusted companion throughout your entire birthing and postpartum process.

I am a Venezuelan born, Miami raised, queer, cis woman who has always been obsessed with babies and everything birth. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve known that I wanted to work with children and parents. I did everything from teach dance, child wrangle, summer camp counselor, and eventually a full-time nanny. I have worked as a nanny for the last 13 years. I am finally walking the road to becoming a birth and postpartum doula, and I am beyond thrilled to be working with you. My intentions are to bring light, love, safety, and knowledge to families in need of assistance during both birth and postpartum. I believe you should be able to speak freely of any concerns or questions you may have about your pregnancy and newborn. I believe that it is your right to rest and be able to enjoy the journey into parenting, whether it is your first child, or your third.

We cannot recommend Elanor enough. She is an incredible full-time nanny for our family, and has been for the last five years. She handled our first child and then transitioned to handing both when we had our second; she was especially amazing while juggling our newborn and toddler. She is calm, patient, warm, and has never once raised her voice - a quality that has been especially wonderful for our sensitive children. At the same time, she is firm and consistent, sets clear boundaries, and is excellent at discipline in a calm and respectful way. She is incredibly flexible, often staying late or coming early when needed, and even traveled with us on many family vacations, giving us daytime coverage and the opportunity for much needed date nights. She also handles doctor appointments, kids sports/activities, and all the everyday logistics of caring for two young children. She became such a trusted and important part of our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her in our children’s lives.

Layla was the first person that we have brought into our home for such a sensitive period. We usually have family exclusively during the postpartum period but finally after two children, wanted to see the other side of things with a postpartum doula. My family was so happy when she arrived - and she stepped right in and became part of our family. She figured her way around our home like it was her own and was so useful during the overnights - I truly now understand why people hire this service now. The luxury of having someone you trust taking care of your children is a true blessing! Not only that - all of our boundaries and home rules we're respected. We felt so comfortable and would have her again if we weren't done having kids! Thank you Layla!

I've been married for more than 26 years, and my greatest joy in life is being a mom to my three wonderful children. When I'm not spending time with my family, you'll most likely find me cooking for the people I love, curled up with a good book, going for a run or walk (on a good day!), or finding ways to encourage and support young families. Home-cooked meals and great big hugs are definitely my love languages or at least the way I most naturally show people they're cared for. I've always been a "baby person." For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of working with children and families in one way or another. But it wasn't until I became a mother myself that my heart truly opened to what new parents experience. I remember so clearly what those early days felt like, the questions, the exhaustion, the joy, and the tenderness of it all. That experience grew my love for babies into a deep compassion for moms and dads as they navigate the beautiful and often overwhelming transition into parenthood. For more than eight years, I've had the joy and honor of serving families as a birth doula, and for over seven years as a postpartum doula. I'm also a Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula and a pediatric sleep consultant, which allows me to support families not only through birth but throughout those precious early weeks and months when everything feels so new.

If you would have told me two weeks ago that my little boy would be sleeping independently tonight, I dont think I would have believed it. We were doing all the things that are antithetical to independent sleep - bedsharing, nursing to sleep, contact napping. Initially, sleep training sounded like this impossible hurdle. Around 5 months, it became clear that my son wasn't getting the sleep he needed. His naps were short and it was so hard to get him to sleep, even with all the aids we were giving him. My sweet, cuddly contact naps had quickly changed from relaxing to exhausting for both me and my baby. My mom recommended that I reach out to Tonya and thank goodness that I did!! She answered right away and put a plan and some tips together for us within just a couple of days. She gave us some strategies that we could try and helped us choose which one was right for us. When the day came to sleep train, she was so responsive and supportive. With her encouragement, we made it through the first (very difficult) night. After that first night, things completely changed for us. With Tonyas continued guidance, we were able to get my son not only night trained, but nap trained as well. All in less than two weeks! Sleep training has been so difficult but beyond rewarding. I also know without a doubt that it would have been so much harder without Tonyas wisdom and guidance. If you need assistance with your little ones sleep, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend reaching out! She is so attentive, so caring, and so supportive of whatever is right for your family.

Katherine took care of my sweet baby boy Pete from the first night he was discharged from the CVICU after open heart surgery when he was 2 weeks old until he was 6months old. I had always planned to use a night nurse for the first 8-12 weeks because my husband has a stressful demanding job and is a light sleeper. I knew that we wanted help in getting Pete onto a schedule and to help with sleep training. But after his surgery, I just didn't feel comfortable having "just" a nanny watch him. I was so excited and relieved when I found Katherine. Since she is highly trained as a baby nurse with not only CPR but several other certifications, I felt so comfortable from night one that Pete was in great hands. Originally she was only scheduled 2 nights a week with us as we rotated 3 nannies throughout the week, but very quickly I requested she become our primary nanny and she then worked 4-5 nights a week, which was a dream! Katherine is so knowledgeable and caring - she made me feel so at peace with having a baby with medical needs and being able to care for him on my own during the day. I often would write down random baby questions throughout the day and then as soon as she arrived and Pete was asleep, I'd sit down and pepper her with all my concerns and questions. She was magical in holding my hand when needed, encouraging me that I was enough as a mom always, and always took the time to answer and thoroughly explain any questions on any subject I brought up. She was super flexible as well. She came inearly for date nights, stayed late when I had appointments, and I even took her with us on vacation several times in those first 6months. Having her as a second pair of hands was invaluable! I highly recommend Katherine as an infant nanny, especially if you have a newborn! You will not regret it!
