Service introduction

I help expectant parents prepare for the fourth trimester by considering universal traits of the postpartum experience for the parents and the baby and by examining each family's unique needs and resources. I help new parents navigate the demands of early parenthood with logistical, practical, educational and emotional support.

Postpartum Preparation
In a 1.5 to 2 hour session, we: Consider the needs of each member of your family through the tender postpartum time, with a big focus on the physical and emotional recovery of the birth parent and the physiological needs of the new baby Inventory the support you already have in place, both recognized and not yet seen Make plans for supplying your family with more support in the form of human resource, supplies, information, communication, etc. Look together at nature’s design for the postpartum time and hold the unknowable variables with love, reverence and hope From the time of our session until the birth of your baby, I am available to you through email for questions and processing.
