About me

April has spent over twenty years working with pregnant people and their babies. Attending over 1,500 births has convinced her that everyone deserves evidence-based information and unconditional support, and that when those things are offered, creating and birthing our babies can be a powerful and transformative experience. This is the foundation of all of her work. April has her masters in midwifery, is a Certified Professional Midwife, IBCLC Lactation Consultant, massage therapist specializing in pregnancy, birth and postpartum with an emphasis on Craniosacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release, and is an author and nutrition coach focusing on women’s health. She is also the founder of the Birth With Spirit Doula Certification program. “April is very gifted! She is helping me through a

Service introduction

I train conception, birth and postpartum doulas through Birth With Spirit Certification. I practice myself as well as run the BWS Doula Agency which provides services including the entire childbearing year, and pregnancy and birth photography.
