I passionately serve our Greater Rochester, NY area as your community Birth Doula! I bring a calm confidence to birthing people, partners and their families during their pregnancy, labor and birth journeys. I love supporting my community through creating living birth plans with my clients, providing evidence-based coping skills and empowering birthing people with knowledge, resources and compassionate care! When I'm not attending a birth you will find me enjoying the Rochester Public Market, local coffee shops around town as well as hiking with my husband and our Dalmatian. Supporting you during pregnancy and throughout your fourth trimester is my life's work, and it is beautiful!!

Joanna was the most supportive, insightful, and resourceful doula I could have asked for. In addition to being experienced in the birthing and medical field, she cares deeply about the client and their family, ensuring that their birth plan reflects all their wants and needs. When things couldn't go according to plan, having Joanna's wisdom and compassion was invaluable - my husband and I literally don't know what we would have done without her in many high pressure moments. The postpartum component to Joanna's services are equally valuable and have helped me tremendously in my physical/emotional healing, as well as the transition into the fourth trimester and beyond. Thank you, Joanna - may all moms be so lucky to work with you!

I'm Sareya Faulkner, a Birth and Postpartum Doula deeply committed to empowering expectant mothers as they transition into parenthood. Since childhood, I've been captivated by the miracle of bringing new life into the world. I've always been passionate about supporting women, while also caring for their little ones. Through my years as a nanny, I gained profound insight into the challenges many families face during birth and postpartum. Those experiences ignited my calling to become a birth worker, and I've never looked back. With a background in psychology and integrative counseling, I bring a holistic perspective that honors the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit during childbirth. My ultimate goal is to ensure families feel deeply supported and heard throughout their sacred journey. As your doula, I wholeheartedly believe in your strength, resilience, and innate ability to birth your baby. I'll be there for you, no matter the hour, guiding you through each moment with compassion and encouragement. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or simply need a reassuring voice, I'll be right by your side, cheering you on every step of the way. Beyond my doula work, I spend my time exploring outdoors with my family, creating new recipes in the kitchen, and making art. I'm truly honored and excited to walk alongside you on your path into parenthood, offering my heart and hands to support you every step of the way.

From day one when I interviewed Sareya, I knew that she was going to be a perfect fit for our family. She started caring for my son when he was three months old. We only have good things to say about Sareya. She is timely, professional, and most of all my son lights up when he sees her walk through the door. Sareya is a caregiver that provides compassionate care. She also will take the time to listen and adjust care depending on the day to day. You would be incredibly lucky to have Sareya working alongside you and your family. We are going to miss having Sareya with us each week, but we know that she’s going to do great things working as a doula and postpartum caregiver.

I have been so happy going to see Dr. Diana! i was skeptical about Chiropractors but i was having horrible lower back pain during pregnancy. My sister convinced me to go. I made the appointment and she was able to get me in quickly-she talked me through everything she would be doing including moving the table up and down so i would know what it sounds like. She was very gentle and I have not had any lower back pain since. So happy I found her! She is an expert and you will not be disappointed!

Abi was my doula and I dont know what my birth experience would've been like without her! She was there from the start of labor, the transition to the hospital, and afterwards for 6 weeks. She was attentive, gentle, supportive, kind, and generous. I appreciate her nursing background, while she wasnt my nurse, she offered a type of wisdom we needed. So very grateful for you Abi, I cant possibly repay you for your service. We love you!

have been a doula since 2007 and have had the opportunity to attend a variety of births including medicated, non-medicated, multiples, VBAC’s and home-births. I use many tools to help a woman cope in labor including massage, pressure points, movement, aromatherapy and I am trained in using a TENS unit and have units that I let my clients use for their labor. I love teaching some of the tricks I have learned over the years to the dad and helping him feel a part of the birth. My goal is for the mom and dad to feel like “WE did it” as they hold their sweet baby. I feel passionate about a woman’s power and ability to have the kind of birth experience she longs for. Birth is a beautiful, powerful and natural event. I believe that during labor, a mom needs to surround herself with people that believe in her ability and trust her body and I am always honored when chosen to be a part of that team. I also have a special place in my heart for helping families incorporate their Christian faith in their pregnancy and birth. A woman remembers her birth forever…she may not remember the specific details, but she will remember how she felt. She will remember if she was loved and supported, or if she felt fearful and intimidated. I have no magic powers, but I hope my presence helps those memories be as positive as they can be.

I am determined to help other parents like myself to connect to their child/children and feel empowered to love their bodies and themselves. As a mother of two, I’ve experienced firsthand the difference that having support during birth can make. My first birth was without a doula, and while it was a powerful experience, I realized afterward how much emotional and physical guidance can truly ease the journey. With my second birth, having a doula by my side brought calm, confidence, and reassurance that allowed me to be fully present in the moment. That experience inspired me to become a doula myself—to provide families with the same compassionate support and peaceful presence that made such a difference in my own story. My goal is to help parents feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

Hello! I’m Liana (she/her) and I’m thrilled that you’ve found me! Beyond my ever-increasing passion for all things birth-related, I am a big fan of reading rom-coms, dragging my husband out on adventures with our three kids, extroverting (is that a word?) with friends, and generally enjoying this hectic and lovely life. Now on to why you’re here! After the birth of our first child, I realized there were some big gaps in the childbirth classes that we took. Before we became pregnant again, I was researching what we had missed and awoke a passion for childbirth and maternal care that has only deepened over the years. After our three kids were born, I became a Childbirth Educator in 2017 and a Birth Doula in 2018. I also delivered two babies as a gestational surrogate in 2019 and 2021. I love supporting families of all kinds, including (but not limited to) biological families, adoptive parents, LGBTQ+ parents, single parents, and surrogates and IPs. I look forward to getting to know you!

I have a masters degree in pediatric nursing and I’m an internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). My career started 10 years ago in inpatient pediatrics and the neonatal ICU. I then moved to a pediatric outpatient clinic due to a desire to focus on preventative medicine and patient education. When I had my own struggle breastfeeding my daughter it drove me to focus my career on lactation. I have personally experienced triple feeding, bottle refusal, oral function concerns, maintaining supply while working and breastfeeding in toddlerhood. I have a passion for helping moms understand how their babies developmental milestones influence their breastfeeding experience. I pride myself on providing education rooted in evidence based research. Becoming a mom changed my life so profoundly that now motherhood and breastfeeding are my favorite things to get to talk to other women about.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brooke and the incredible support she provided throughout my breastfeeding journey. From the very beginning, Brooke was a calm and reassuring presence during the early, often overwhelming, stages of breastfeeding. Her gentle approach and deep knowledge immediately put me at ease, and she helped me build both confidence and trust in the process. What truly stood out was Brooke’s exceptional communication—she explained everything clearly and thoroughly, always taking the time to answer my questions with patience and kindness. I never felt rushed, and she consistently made sure I felt supported and heard. As my journey evolved and I transitioned to exclusively pumping, Brooke remained an invaluable resource. Her expertise extended far beyond the basics—she guided me through the challenges of pumping with practical tips, emotional support, and a deep understanding of how to make the experience sustainable and positive. Thanks to Brooke, I felt empowered and informed every step of the way. She genuinely cares about the families she works with, and it shows in everything she does. I am beyond grateful for her guidance and could not have asked for a better lactation consultant. Highly, highly recommend!

With a deep-rooted love for nurturing others and years of hands-on experience supporting families, I come to my work as a postpartum doula with warmth, compassion, and understanding. My own experience with postpartum challenges is what truly called me to this work and shaped my philosophy of care. I know firsthand how vulnerable, overwhelming, and lonely the early weeks after birth can feel. Because of this, I am deeply passionate about ensuring new parents feel seen, heard, and supported. I place special emphasis on emotional and mental well-being, believing—both personally and through research- that caring for a parent’s emotional health is just as essential as supporting physical recovery. My goal is to create a calm, grounded environment where families can rest, heal, and begin this new chapter with confidence. By nature, I am profoundly empathetic and nurturing, and many families share that my presence feels calming and steady. I believe some of the most meaningful support comes not from doing more, but from simply being present, offering patience, reassurance, and a safe space to land during a time of great change. I am a natural listener who values connection, trust, and honoring each family’s unique journey. My approach is rooted in gentle guidance, emotional attunement, and meeting parents exactly where they are, so they feel supported as they recover, reconnect, and grow into their new roles.
