Viviana is an experienced DONA-trained, Certified Birth and Post Partum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor as well as a Certified Childbirth Educator. Additionally, she is trained in Traditional Postpartum Practices. She became a doula soon after having her third child in 2008 and realizing the importance of needing someone informed to support and guidance through the journey into motherhood. Viviana is devoted to helping families navigate through this journey into parenthood with confidence. As a mother of five, she know the importance and difference of having a supportive birth team with each pregnancy as journey is its own story, She had been honored to serve over 300 families in the Tristate Area.

Hi! I’m Rachel (she/they). Although I have been a witness and sometimes an active participant in births since a very young age, I’ve been working as a trained birth and postpartum doula since June 2018 and have supported 250+ families throughout the NYC area. I am a certified lactation support counselor, integrative lactation and baby feeding specialist, a trained lactation educator, doula mentor, placenta specialist and currently obtaining clinical hours at Jamaica Hospital to become an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). My philosophy is simple - there is no wrong way to birth as long as your choices and decisions through the journey are being heard and respected. In working together, I hope to co-create the vision for how you would like to feel during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum; helping you move through this time building confidence in your ability to decide what feels right for you. From countless generations of knowledge, we used ancient medicines and ceremonies to improve the quality of people's lives. My mission is a tireless advocate of informative humanizing treatment for pregnant bodies, postpartum care, generational healing and resilience.

I have been providing birthing support, assistance, and care since 2013 nationally across the United States with a specialty in birth/miscarriage/abortion aftercare. So far, I have attended 4 births and have provided prenatal and post-partum services for over 10+ women. I am walking in my calling and I believe that all women deserve to have affordable support and care during birth.
