Hello, I'm Beatrice. I am a birth doula, and lactation consultant located in Austin, Texas. I started being a doula during my own pregnancy with my son and have loved it since day one! I am trained in birth, postpartum, bereavement, and lactation. I have experience with high risk pregnancies as well. I strive to create a calming, connected, and enjoyable process for all my birthing people and families alike. I have a background in the medical field and being a liberation coach, love creating connections between mother and baby. I also provide support to the fathers (or partners/support people) to be most helpful to mom and baby during pregnancy as well as postpartum. It takes a village to raise a child, I am ready to be a part of your village.

Bereavement situations are hard, regardless of what gestational stage, regardless of whether it is a willing termination for any reason, especially the medical well-being of a birther, which is hard on everyone involved. I will attend and show up how YOU need me to show up for these situations regardless of how they happen. Stillbirths are STILL BIRTH. Miscarriages are STILL BIRTH, terminations are STILL BIRTH. Birth is emotional, it's physical, it's spiritual, and I will be there to support you before, during, and/or after you and your family go through your loss—no matter where, no matter when. Ceremonies and celebrations of life are available. I will help you plan and gather any resources you need to process your loss. It is nearly impossible to put a price on guiding someone through the loss of their child. For any and all bereavement services, I will work on a sliding scale to ensure I am not adding a financial weight to anyone's family during such a difficult time, and payment plans are always available to families processing their loss. If you know you will be experiencing a loss shortly after birth due to medical reasons, please reach out to me to schedule ahead of time so I may best support you through the days leading up to your birth. If you experience a sudden loss, please call the Hive Doula Services Line AND text stating you need support. We will answer any time, day or night, to support a mother or family through their experience.

Beatrice was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful during the entire prgancy. Always quick to respond to calls or texts with any questions we had no matter how late at night. At the hospital on D-Day she was beyond supportive and honestly such a major help during labor!
