The cost of a night nanny in Binghamton, NY can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Binghamton, NY, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Jessica ANN

14 years of experience

Welcome! I’m Jessica, owner of The Happy Mama Place. For more than a decade, I’ve supported families through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania. I’m a DONA Certified Birth Doula, Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, Licensed Massage Therapist, Body Ready Method Pro, Certified High-Risk Doula, and trained in supporting families experiencing pregnancy after infant loss. My work brings together birth support, childbirth education, bodywork, movement, and nervous system awareness to help families prepare for birth both physically and mentally. I believe birth preparation is about more than memorizing positions or techniques. Every body is different, every baby moves through the pelvis differently, and every birth unfolds differently. My goal is to help you better understand your body, reduce fear, build confidence, and develop tools you can actually use during labor. My services include birth doula support, HypnoBirthing childbirth education, prenatal and induction massage and bodywork, labor support, and placenta encapsulation. The Happy Mama Place also has a team of doulas available for families seeking postpartum doula support. I support families throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, including the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, the Poconos, Bloomsburg and Danville, the Lehigh Valley, and surrounding communities. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth, navigating a high-risk pregnancy, hoping for a different experience after a previous birth, or simply looking for more individualized preparation and support, I’d love to learn about you and what you envision for your birth. Send me a message and tell me a little about where you are in your pregnancy and what kind of support you’re looking for. I’d love to connect.

It's so nice to meet you! If you're interested in learning more, please feel free to reach out to me via my website or social media, listed below in the "Social media" section. -- I'm Emily—the heart and hands behind Mothered Majesty. From the time I was a little girl, I've been enchanted by the miracle of life. I would flip eagerly to the “stages of human pregnancy” section in biology books and pore over my mother's copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting like it was a sacred text. Motherhood and parenthood have always felt special to me—something I feel deeply honored to witness and nurture. Caring for others has been woven through my life and work for years. I've cared for infants and toddlers in an in-home daycare, provided childcare and babysitting, volunteered with elementary-aged children, and spent several years working overnight in a professional care-giving role supporting young adults with developmental disabilities. I've also had the privilege of walking alongside families during the postpartum season. These experiences, together with my formal postpartum doula training, shape the way I care for families today. I’ve walked through seasons of transformation in my own life—grief, healing, loss, and renewal. I understand what it can feel like to lose your sense of self in the midst of life-altering change. The postpartum period is a tender threshold, and I bring both my training and lived empathy to meet you where you are. My approach to fourth trimester care goes beyond practical support alone. I aim to see and affirm the inherent worth in every parent I serve. I bring the practical alongside the poetic: preparing meals, caring for your baby while you shower or rest, lightly tidying your space, running errands, offering evidence-based information, and simply being there when you need someone beside you. I don't claim to have all the answers, but you will never be alone in finding them. I believe in honoring the boundaries of my role and connecting families with trusted professionals when something falls beyond my scope. My goal is to help you rest, recover, grow in confidence, and feel supported as you find your footing in this new or new-again chapter of parenthood.

I would use Emily over and over again for postpartum doula care. I know there is a lot of hype around birth doulas- don’t get me wrong, that is also a valuable service! But working with Emily postpartum really made everything so much smoother! I truly felt mothered during her time in our home, and will be using her once we welcome our next baby!

Tammy is the best member you could ever add to your postpartum team. She’s worth every single penny. We first met online, due to her strong supportive presence on local Facebook community groups. She’s a connector and positive networker. I was new to the area in my 3rd trimester and she made a huge impression on me. I requested a free consultation over the phone due to a wonderful job presenting itself at 4 weeks postpartum. I wanted to see what she thought. She’s a veteran mother herself for over a decade now and her experience and advice helped me not worry should I choose to take the job. We then discussed her coming on as a team member… while I was away for said job! Her sensitive and confident approach of helping my newborn daughter, my toddler daughter, my husband, and my sister (who came in to help), made myself feel more confident to leave for the dream job. Even weeks leading up to baby girl’s arrival, we strategized breastmilk calculations and anticipated all outcomes of birth with positive affirmations. And when the time came for me to go away for 8 days, I never worried for a second. My newborn and my entire family were in wonderful hands. I even came home to a neater, cleaner home! Hire Tammy. She’s now a forever friend, too.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A True Godsend! Divine Doula Care Lives Up to the Name Where do I even begin? Working with De’naja and Divine Doula Care, LLC has been one of the most life-changing and empowering experiences I’ve ever had; not just for me, but for my sons and their father too. From the very first moment we connected, De’naja made me feel seen, safe, and fully supported. Her presence is calming, nurturing, and deeply intuitive. She doesn’t just provide a service, she offers an experience rooted in love, wisdom, and divine feminine strength. Throughout my pregnancy, De’naja was there every step of the way. She answered every question, soothed every anxiety, and held space for me to show up exactly as I was, no judgment, just care. Her knowledge and holistic approach made me feel more confident, prepared, and in tune with my body and my baby. But it didn’t stop at birth. Her postpartum support has been everything. She continues to show up for not just me, but for my family as a whole. She’s helped guide my partner in being present and intentional, and has been a beautiful, grounding energy in our parenting journey. Her care doesn’t come with a time limit—it’s genuine, ongoing, and rooted in deep compassion. De’naja is more than a doula. She is a healer, an educator, an advocate, and a sister in spirit. Divine Doula Care, LLC isn’t just a business, it’s a personal calling, something she pours her heart and soul into every single day and it shows.
