I’m really nervous about labor and delivery. I want an epidural and am good with medical intervention. I’m nervous that my husband won’t be calm during the birthing process. I need someone who can help me be calm through it and help coach my husband through it. I also am nervous about being very vulnerable during birth and consent is very important for me and want to make sure I feel comfortable and not taken advantage of. Giving birth at Sibley I’m also very nervous about postpartum. This is my first pregnancy

I would like someone with at least 5 years' experience. I'm a 46-year-old first-time mom. My insurance provider is Carefirst BCBS. Doulas are a covered benefit. I have a BluePreferred PPO plan.
