Hi, I’m Gabby and I would love to help you on this adventure of parenthood. I am following the footsteps of my aunt who is a doula and has dedicated her life to new mothers. I have a bachelors in healthcare administration with a focus on women’s health. I have worked with the public for over 10 years. I was a lifeguard for 6 years and that transitioned to the healthcare field which I have been in for the last 5 years. I have always found ways to integrate myself in the pregnancy world, I have worked on labor and delivery units in hospitals, and in an OB/GYN clinic. I have helped friends and family postpartum with their new bundles of joy adapt to this new life. I would love to help you too. I have learned tips and tricks through my experience in the pregnancy world and would love to share them with you. I believe knowledge is strength, and I am here to equip you with the best knowledge I have so you have confidence to succeed in this new journey in your life.

I am an experienced birth, postpartum doula and first year care specialist of over four years. I've been in maternal and pediatric work for over ten years, and love what I do. I am Shirley! I am a Lifestyle Photographer focused on Motherhood with a big passion for Birth and Postpartum Services. I am a trained doula as well and plan to become a Post-Partum Doula. I love to capture beautiful moments for my clients as well as emotion and details. Those fleeting details and moments that happen and at time we don’t notice, that’s where my passion is.

As a RI Certified Perinatal Doula (CPD), member/owner of RI Birthworker Co-op, and member of Doulas of Rhode Island, I am committed to providing inclusive, compassionate, and evidence-based support so you can feel fully informed, respected, and empowered as you enter this next chapter of your life. I am for the ones who wish to honor their pregnancy and birth experience as the sacred rite of passage that it is; preparing with patience, intention, and care. Lisa Gendron (pronouns she/her) is Agroterra Birth. She has been a doula since 2007 and worked extensively with families in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Lisa is a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife in the State of Rhode Island, A Certified Birth Doula (Childbirth International), and Birthing From Within® Mentor. She is the mother of three children, a queer person, an artist, a passionate community advocate for midwifery, fungi hunter and lover of all growing things. A long-time board member of The Rhode Island Birth Network, Co-founder of the RI Home Birth Collective, a community organizer with RI Friends of Midwives, and other community grassroots organizations, Lisa has been deeply invested in the birth community in her state. She has recently joined the NACPM Board as Secretary and is working toward accessible midwifery care throughout the US and internationally. Committed to access for all families- Lisa works with income-based fees and in all her work strives to increase access to information, midwifery and advocacy for people. I am a Birth/ Postpartum Doula and Birth Photographer located in New Bedford, Ma. I've also been a Medical Interpreter for the past 20+ years. I love all things birth with a peaceful and natural approach. I use positive affirmations, information and emotional support. Being a Photographer has also helped me capture those unforgettable moments that go by too fast. When I'm not at a Birth you will find me making memories with my family and drinking lots and lots of coffee! I love coffee! I am also blessed to be a mother of 3 beautiful children, and have been married for 28 years.
