Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth. My midwife story began with the home births of my own children. They inspired me to share the transformative experience of owning my birth, finding my own path, and becoming Me. I began my home birth midwifery journey through traditional apprenticeship, where I was more or less self taught. I embarked on a journey which took me halfway across the world to a charity birth clinic in the Philippines. Then I returned again to my mini-farm in Connecticut where I raised and home schooled my three children and ran a small community practice. Over a span of 15 years, my experiences included solo practice, busy group practice, and birth center, blending of traditional midwifery with formalized education. In 2025, I graduated from Midwives College of Utah and earned my credential as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). Currently I work in solo practice, supporting families in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and eastern Connecticut with holistic, personalized pregnancy care, home birth, postpartum and newborn care with all visits in your own home.

I have been dedicated to women’s health since the beginning of my public health journey. When I began university, I started volunteering with the Women's Resource Center on campus. This allowed me to plan events and educate students about sexual health and wellness. I was later hired on as a sexual violence educator as well. I was on the pre-medicine track, but realized that my true passions were helping improve health outcomes for people. I decided to get my Master's of Public Health at Boston University. Through the program, I dedicated a lot of my time to researching maternal health outcomes, especially for women of color. I have been fortunate to be able to use my passions for reproductive justice in my research at Boston Medical Center. Much of my work focuses on family planning and health disparities in repro spaces. In my work, I have been fortunate to work with amazing birth workers, which inspired my own doula journey.
