Hi! I’m Carolyn. It is my passion to provide affirming midwifery care in the comfort of your own home throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. live with my husband and 3 of my 4 children in Somers, CT. After my 4th child was born at home, with a Certified Professional Midwife I then felt the calling to enter the field of birth work. Since 2008, I have been helping couples have the kind of natural birth that I had with my 4 children. I started my path to Midwifery as a Bradley Method Childbirth Educator. I then went on to complete a year long program with WomanCraft in Amherst, MA, along with a 7 day advanced skills Midwifery workshop. This career path landed me in Houston Texas where I completed the requirements to sit for national midwifery examination. I worked in two high volume birth centers for a year and a half as an Apprentice Midwife. I obtained my Professional Midwifery Credential in 2019 and have since gone on to pursue my RN degree.

Carolyn is an amazing midwife. She is committed to her craft and her passion shows. I had both of my babies with her. I transferred to her at 8 months pregnant with my first and I'm so glad I did. She took great care of me and my little boys before, during and after the delivery. She helped me feel in control of the whole process and was committed to helping me make educated decisions for the best possible outcome. I am very grateful.
