My provider was adamant about inducing at 37 weeks, afraid our daughter would not make it to term. Chantia informed us there was a high chance of a stalled labor due to the drugs administered to encourage active labor and the chance our baby would be jaundice. At the time we chose to go the route my care provider recommended because this was our first birth and we were afraid of what might happen. Low and behold I was in the hospital for 6 days during induction and babygirl was jaundice. Chantia did not make us feel bad about our choice and showed so much respect and compassion. She listened to my experience and although I still battle feelings about it, Chantia always made sure to uplift me and was happy we went home with our beautiful daughter.
