When I had my second child and my fair share of breastfeeding struggles, I decided to use my nursing education as a basis for studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant after I was inspired by my own favorite IBCLC to help others. I have been certified with IBLCE since 2017 and have personal experience breastfeeding for a total of six years so far! (3.5 years with my first child, 2 years with my second child, and almost fifteen months with our new baby!)
