I’m Emma — a mother of four and a Christian birth doula who believes birth is sacred, holy, and thoughtfully designed by our Creator. I trust that women’s bodies were created without flaw and are more than capable of birthing, and my role is to gently support and protect that design. I bring a calm, steady, and nurturing presence into the birth space, intentionally creating an atmosphere of peace, safety, and confidence as labor unfolds. With quiet reassurance and intuitive support, I help mothers stay grounded, informed, and in control of their birth decisions while working collaboratively with their care team. Birth is holy work. I am deeply intentional about protecting the atmosphere of the room—creating a space where peace is prioritized, voices are respected, and mothers feel supported to labor and birth with confidence and calm.

I cannot say enough amazing things about emma! From the moment she joined my birth team, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. She was calm, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable  the exact presence I needed throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. She checked on me consistently, answered every question without judgment, and made sure I always felt empowered in every decision. During labor, she brought such a grounding energy. She anticipated my needs before I even said them and helped create a peaceful environment that made a huge difference in my birth experience. What I appreciated most was how she advocated for me and made sure my voice was heard. She held space for me emotionally, guided me physically, and truly honored the kind of birth I wanted. Her support didn’t stop after delivery she followed up, encouraged me, and made the transition home feel so much easier. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made. I’m incredibly grateful for her compassion, professionalism, and warmth. I would recommend her to any expectant parent without hesitation.

Becca Long

15 years of experience

Hi, I’m Becca — a postpartum doula who believes every family deserves to feel cared for, supported, and seen during the fourth trimester and beyond. I’ve spent over 20 years working with families, including ten as a nanny and several more as a caretaker, and those experiences have given me a deep understanding of what it means to show up with compassion and calm in life’s tender moments. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest with an appreciation for natural beauty, 90s country music, and the comfort that comes from a good home-cooked meal. I bring humor, heart, and an almost alarming knowledge of song lyrics to my work — because sometimes what a new parent needs most is a helping hand, a warm meal, and someone who can make them laugh when the day feels long. My goal is simple: to help you rest, recover, and find your rhythm in this new season of life — one step (and one smile) at a time

Becca was fantastic in each phase during my successful vaginal delivery after 2 C sections! First in early labor, by preparing us to go to the hospital and getting our house and family packed up with essentials that we didnt know we'd need. She helped put together a birth plan and explained the different scenarios and set contingency plans. Then during active labor, she was constantly helping me get into different and/or better positions to keep my labor progressing. She was there every step of the way, the entire night. She was very attentive and kept strong communication with my husband and I while advocating our wishes to the hospital staff. There were several occasions where she even surprised my husband with her initiative and knowledge on what I needed in the moment. When it came time to push she was such a comfort at my side and was ready with affirmations and encouragement when I felt feelings of self-doubt. After one hour and 20 minutes of pushing, our miracle rainbow baby was born 🩷🌈 In postpartum at the hospital and at home, she stayed ontop of things with meals and taking care of us in general. The food was tasty and she kept the house in order while I rested and recovered. Becca also managed to capture my labor and delivery with photos that I'll cherish forever. The were taken in a very non distracting and non revealing way but still captured the beauty of these moments. We cant say enough about how thankful we are for her help and her services. Having her there made a world of a difference!
